Sasuke can feel that his time is almost up. He looks at the woman by his side, holding his hand ever since and crying... it seemed like he always made her cry. He reaches out and leans his forehead into his wife's. His irreplaceable partner. Sakura couldn't comprehend the pain she's feeling seeing her husband at his most weakened state yet he managed to smile at her. That genuine smile she loves so, so much. He says "I'll see you next time," and instead of the usual 'thank you' he gives to her and only to her, he surprises her by saying "I love you always..." as his last words.
