I FINALLY designed her winter outfit.. she's pretty cute like this!! still has her core features (symbol on her top, puffs, slits on side of skirt (with shorts under, duh!) and of course her heart motif! I love my daughter and now she won't freeze her butt off in the winter.

ANOTHER sketch of Starry: Black and Starry: White. At some point while aboard the Nebula, the two talk. Black expresses his feelings about his attempts to get the scientists on board to be nicer to him and White (to no avail) and how White has been distancing herself.
White is irritatedly tugging at her hair and saying how much she wants Black to go away. After all, what good could growing up in a spaceship, isolated from anyone else but your brother do to you? She pushes him away and she shows more of her nature, influenced by the white hole she was infused with to push away anyone or anything that comes too close. Even emotionally.

for some context I was trying to vent to my friend about my health issues w my knee and my parents telling me my knee catching and pain can be fixed at home despite it not feeling that way. she started being all cheery and joking and some 'that's not very burgers and bingo' and a crappy tiktok reaction image and yeah it's clearly meant to be funny but I'm trying to vent i don't want people trying to be a class clown while im trying to tell them about how im scared I'll get hurt again and go to the doctor too late and end up needing surgery again.
it felt like my vent went through one ear and out the other with her.

This is Starry: Black and Starry: White, based off black and white holes! Black's happy and friendly demeanor attracts a lot of attention, and is a favorite subject aboard the Nebula, but he ends up destroying anyone (physically) that touches him. (WE love the black hole afro)
White, however, is a lot more solitary and less fond of being touched by anyone, hence why her hair is long and straggly and why her jacket is covered in spikes, to repel people as a white hole does. She does also literally repel regular objects and people from touching her body.
God knows how the scientists managed to infuse two originally human children with the essence of a black and a white hole.
