The best way to help Iranian women as persons in the west is to protest in front of US gov buildings, embassies, or UN buildings and demand to lift the crippling sanctions of 40 years that have been killing Iranians by preventing daily basic needs like bread, shelter, medicine and heat electricity from being met. You cannot have any social progress like womens rights when your basic needs can't be met. None of the counties under US imperialism will ever have rights for women until imperialism is defeated. Defeating imperialism is integral to women's rights
Oh no. Destruction of imperialism does NOT guarantee liberation of women. Imagine that because of some miracle all nations now have their own free independent states, zero colonization involved, that kind of shit. Will it destroy the patriarchy liberate women? Nope. Will it somehow prevent men from enslaving women of their own nation? Also no. Oh maybe they'll stop treating all of us like public or private property? Take our rights away? You know the answer.
If you take away men's ability to colonize other nations, they still have the ability to colonize WOMEN, exploit us sexually, economically, etc. So until every woman is liberated from male colonization, imperialism cannot be destroyed. And also, UN is bullshit and they don't care for women.
What you can actually do: spread the information about protests, don't let your Iranian sisters be silenced, fight against the idea that wearing hijab is feminist, progressive or a choice.

have you considered that you might be agender? Or maybe a ďżźdemigirl? Idk Iâm trying to be compassionate and I see a lot of suffering under your hate
Yeah, anon. I have. If you read even a little bit of what Iâve written about my experiences with gender identity, even just my pinned post, youâll see that I am very open about the fact that I identified as some flavor of trans or nonbinary for nine years.
Gender identity is a coping mechanism that allows women and girls to dissociate themselves from their status under patriarchyâa status that causes suffering on a scale that canât even begin to be measured. Young girls see and experience that suffering, and they learn that suffering and being disrespected and violated is part of being female in our world.
Gender identity offers an escape. âWhat if, deep inside, youâre actually somebody who deserves respect? What if youâre an individual with needs and desires and an internal life that has nothing to do with the way women are forced to live?â For many women, that realization is simply that of âWomen arenât all the patriarchy says they are! Weâre more!â But for many of those who are exposed to the grooming, petting, sycophantic rhetoric of gender identity, that thought process is interrupted, and molded into âIf Iâm not what society says a woman is, then Iâm not a woman!â And youâre encouraged to never reflect on what that logic might say about how you perceive the women around you. Youâre alienated from other women and from yourself, constantly occupied with how others perceive you and the crushing need to be different, bolstered by the doctrine that any woman who stays a woman must like it. You donât like it.
Gender identity deadens your ability to meaningfully analyze and express your suffering. It takes away your language. It cuts off your connection to the women who came before you and the women who will come after you.
So yeah, I am suffering. But at least, having rejected everything that gender identity is and everything it does, Iâm allowed to talk about whatâs actually causing my suffering.
