Rewatching this and suddenly remember again Cas doesn’t need touch to heal, so he totally can just hover and mojo him clean, but instead he leans in slowly, ignores Dean’s pleading resistance, puts his palm on the face of the man he loves too deeply and he just beat up, and heals him in his deepest guilty apologetic gesture. And breaks free from the brainwash angelic lobotomy control. Because Dean says “I need you”. And the original script says Dean would say “I love you” then and there bit Dean decides “I need you” is even stronger. And Dean Winchester does not beg, and does not plead, but anything to wake Cas up, he would do it. Those two… *long sigh* idk what to say
