Kuroo snorts loudly, the sound almost embarrassingly ridiculous. He glances around, just as Ukai does, over exaggerating his motions before he turns to face the other male. “Guess that means you were drawn to me then.”
Kuroo follows along well, still keeping pace as they make a turn. “Sure, sure,” he agrees, though he’s mostly certain that the other male is just trying to keep a cool cover. “Guess I’m lucky all around today. Got someone to kiss me and now he’s taking me out for food.” He’s teasing again, enjoying how the other reacts to such things.
He gave Kuroo a sharp look, trying to shut him up, even if he had a feeling that wouldn’t work. “Yeah, yeah..” Ukai grunted, taking his usual long strides, like he was planning on ditching Kuroo in a few seconds. He could feel his ears turn pink as well, now looking at the sidewalk to avoid the other’s eyes.
“Can we forget about that part?” Keishin asked him, glancing over his shoulder at him. “I’m just paying you back, that’s it.” He rolled his eyes. It couldn’t sound more like a date if he tried.
