I don’t like ultmatums.
I know.
Here for a few threads, maybe.
[Probably taking a break here.]
“So you keep telling me,” she said and reached out toward her again. “I want to see you tonight,” Jeri added, lowering her voice. “I’d like to spend the night with you.”
They’d done this a dozen times before, but Pam’s heart still fluttered, hearing those words. Jeri wanted her.
“Good,” Pam said. “I want you to spend the night. And you better actually stay the whole night this time.”
Almost eerily calm, Jeri sipped at her drink as she watched Pam’s little show. Then, she licked the last drops of alcohol from her lips before leaning forward. Boldness was a trait that deserved reward. And if she was going to do this, then she was going to do it right, damnit.
“I see,” she murmured. Jeri rested her free hand on Pam’s leg, letting it slide up towards the hem of her dress. “I think I could put your skill set to use.” She wanted to forget. Forget her name, forget Wendy, forget everything but the warm of Pam’s skin.
Pam had had enough teasing. She took Jeri’s drink out of her hand, putting it aside, and, looking into Jeri’s eyes for a just a moment, leaned in to kiss her. She could taste the alcohol on Jeri’s lips, and the waxy flavor of Jeri’s carefully applied lipstick.
She kept the kiss brief, but, she hoped, leaving an impression, and leaned back.
“Your move, Ms. Hogarth.”
“Please don’t do that. Thanks.”

“I believe good lawyer should be able to argue her way out of consequences. And I am a very good lawyer.”
Jeri leaned forward a little, towards Pam. A faint smirk curled at her lips, like this was a contract negotiation instead of her considering an affair with her employee. “You are a very confident young woman. I believe that you could be very good at making me forget.”
“It happens to be my expertise,” Pam said---nearly purred. “Well, one of them.” She reached out, touching Jeri’s hand. “I’m so good I can make you forget your own name.”
She grinned, and then raised Jeri’s hand to her lips. She kissed them, and then lapped at her fingertips. Bolder and bolder, but Pam was ready to take on some high stakes. She’d been patient enough.
“I didn’t know you were– I’m sorry.” Trish sighed, shifting her weight from one leg to the other just a little, sympathy etched on her features.. “He’s ruined so many lives already, and he continues doing so. It’s terrifying.” Her head shook, then she motioned her hand so Pam could follow. “Of course. We can grab something to eat, if that’s okay. I haven’t had dinner yet.”
“That would be great.” Pam’s shoulders sagged, both in relief and something of defeat. She wasn’t beaten, not yet, but too often she felt she wasn’t strong enough to face what had happened---to her, and what she’d done to Wendy. “Do you have someplace in mind? Somewhere quiet?”
“No I don’t,” Jeri said easily. “If I did I would have gotten you front row seat to Michael Kors’ latest catwalk - oh.. I did.” She smirked and pulled the tickets out of her desk drawer with her free hand. “I spoil you because you deserve it.”
@ultimatxms
Pam laughed, and looked up at Jeri through her eyelashes. “You’re perfect, you know that? And not just because you give me stuff.”
“You know I do,” Jeri said as she reached out and cupped Pam’s face gently, leaning in close to kiss her lips tenderly. “Mmm my delicious Pammy.”
Pam chased after Jeri’s lips, deepening the kiss before she moved her mouth down to Jeri’s neck, just the edge of her teeth scraping over Jeri’s skin.

Here are even more questions for you about your muse(s). Fill these in or ask for people to sent them to your askbox.
How are they in the morning? Up right away or ‘five more minutes’?
Your muse just embarrassed themselves in front of a group. What do they do?
If they had to lose sight, hearing or touch, which one would they choose and why?
How well does your muse get along with kids?
How well do they get along with animals?
What’s their favorite way to pass time?
What are their nervous habits?
What kind of a teacher/professor would your muse be?
How can you tell they’re restless?
How can you tell they’re scared?
If they led the world, or a country, what kind of a place would it be?
What were they planning to become when they were a child? What was their dream job?
Does it take long for them to trust someone?
How quickly do they learn new things?
How do they feel about nudity, theirs and others’?
What would be the best way to blackmail your muse? How would they react if someone did it?
“Both or neither.” Jeri said with a smirk. “I’ll buy you something new, something to go with the mint green Louboutin: Pigatelle Follies Patent I just sent for. No reason to over pack.”
Pam laughed, coming still closer to Jeri. “You spoil me.”
Trish turned around the moment she heard the voice behind her, half-expecting one of the fans with all of the Patsy merch to run up to her. She did not mind her fans, not anymore, but it had been a long day and there was no time for pleasantries. However, when the familiar-looking blonde spoke, a wave of recognition washed over Trish’s face and she smiled, coming close and extending her hand.
“Lovely to meet you Pam, I saw you around somewhere. I’ve been to your company’s building before. I take it you’re not here to discuss the talk show?”
Pam took her hand, forcing as much of a smile as she could these days. “I’m not sure if you know what I went through, because of Jeri, because of Kilgrave. Hell, really. I just---I guess I was hoping we could talk. There aren’t many people who can understand, and Jessica’s not really much of a sharer.”
“ Yeah, you sound real sorry about it. Where’s Hogarth? “
“Ms. Hogarth is in a meeting, and if you interrupt it, she will be very unhappy.”
She paused. “I can recommend someone else to you. Someone who might be a better match for you.”
