This is nice and all but as someone who just changed my full name legally I’m going to say that the paperwork is really easy to fill out and you don’t need Legal Zoom to do it. And the costs per county are different in the US.

Also there’s more to it than the fines per county on your paperwork. You also have to, depending on where you live, pay a newspaper to publish it three times on three different dates and this is generally not cheap.

AND you will need to get yourself fingerprinted federally and in your state, which ALSO costs money before you even file with your county.

All and all legally changing my name cost me more than $139 and I didn’t need a legal service to do it.

This is pretty much a scam.

Today I met a woman, whose age she did not mention because she is a lady, was buying a lot of Star Wars merch because we had it on sale. And she was telling me that she couldn’t wait to see the new one and how she was going to stay up and see the midnight release and take pictures of people in costumes. She was so excited, and then she leans in close:
