This has likely been spoken about an absurd amount but: The worst thing about being a mad person is how isolating it is. You cant talk to ANY ONE about the things you deal with or the consequences will be dire. The people around you are in good faith but they have been taught and trained by a bad faith system, so they think incarceration is the best option for you if you become "too much". If you scare the people around you with the big bad feelings you have, it becomes justified to put you in priso- I MEAN a psychiatric hospital. So you are left bottling it up or screaming in to a void full of strangers online. Its so suffocating to experience.
L'intensité du moment fait l'éternité du souvenir.

All I know is a door into the dark.
Seamus Heaney, Door into the Dark; from 'The Forge'
I am a daughter of shame. I live in the shadows and I try not to bleed on my mothers carpet. My skin jagged and worn as if I have lived thousands of lives, in one body. I am flat. I am empty. This is all the world wanted for me. I pretend not to notice how quiet the sky is on a sunday morning, as if god has deserted me.
