The evolution of my cell phones during four years of high school. I dropped all three in the toilet at one point, the iPhone died, the Razr survived and the Nokia broke the toilet.
NONE of this would be happening in the Berenstein universe

Password sharing is not piracy any more than loaning your friend a DVD or watching a movie with your family is piracy. The service is already paid for. Execs just consider sharing to be eeeevil because they canât exploit every individual person.Â
If you ever doubt that Gilbert Blythe is as dramatic as Anne Shirley Cuthbert, please recall that he was in the middle of talking to Moody at a building site where he was volunteering and he just WALKED AWAY. MID CONVERSATION. PEOPLE WERE TALKING TO HIM and he was like âgotta go have emotions,â except he DIDNâT EVEN OFFER THAT EXPLANATION HE JUST NOPED OUT OF THERE.
Gilbert Blythe is the Troy Bolton of Avonlea
@gold-star-for-me I love you for this
SIR WE ALREADY TALKED ABOUT THIS. YOU NEED TO CALM THE EFF UP.
FANCY

@jesusagrees replied to your post He is Psychometric Episode 10 Review:
I ALWAYS THOUGHT SEUNG MOâS MOM SET THE FIRE TOO!!!!! Gahhhhh. Also I really like how they arenât like just sugar coating the whole love line between Ahn and Jae In, like most dramas do. I really like how theyâre keeping it to this mystery/thriller type and not just making it about the main leads and their feelings. Bless. Also Ahn with getting better at his readings on people, man I canât wait until he reads the crazy mofos and gets full read on Seung Mo.
Right?!! I canât wait for next weekâs episode, itâs going to be really intense.
i love how honest and straightforward An is about things - he doesnât beat around the bush or hold back about things. heâs the complete opposite of Seung Mo (who seems to keep it in as long as he can), and allows his emotions and thoughts to just pour outÂ
but heâs not thoughtlessly open? he has things heâd rather keep to himself, and he doesnât pry with others about their own secrets/feelings in general (i guess knowing he has the power to invade peopleâs privacy makes him infinitely more conscious of respecting that privacy)
SUNG MO WITH HIS HAIR DOWN THO
The contrast between Tanâs mantra and the rest of the Fab 5âs mantras is sending me.
Everyone else: đđđŒđđđŒ
Tan: You could try trying.
call me ignorant but i genuinely donât understand why sports have to be split up by gender.
@ everyone in the notes talking about physical performance: if that were the case, then sports would be divided by physical performance. thatâs a thing you can measure. thatâs a thing that varies by individual. a weak man and a strong man would be an unfair fight in boxing/wrestling/MMA, which is why they divide those sports up into weight groups based on physical performance. but they also further segregate them based on gender. chess is segregated by gender for no reason but sexism. if itâs actually about skill and physical ability, then measure those and separate people by those metrics. donât do some bullshit gender segregation and pretend like men and women are inherently on different levels no matter their individual abilities.
Remember that time a teenage girl struck out Babe Ruth? Thatâs fucking why. Men are afraid of being beaten by women.
Remember that time male swimmers were pulled out of training because Kate Ledecky was leaving them âbrokenâ by swimming better than them? Remember how she didnât even notice, because she was busy actually training?
Shooting is a sport that has no reliance on strength and so any allowance for gender variation is irrelevant. The last time there was a mixed competition (1992) a chinese woman named Zhang Shan won it.
Itâs often presented as for the benefit of women. After all, theyâll be heartbroken when theyâre hurt or bested by men.
Projection is a hell of a drug.Â
this is why they drug test Serena like crazy. the believe no woman should be that good. let alone a black woman. and black women have always been considered âmanlyâ and less feminine.
also can we talk about how surfing is segregated as well? like how the dude who won this years international surfing cup or whatever was given $30,000 worth of prize money, while the woman who won the womenâs comp was only awarded like $16,000 of prize money???? or whatever it was. but I know it was either half or less than half of what the man won. like why canât they get the same prize money and when theyâre competing internationally in the same competition? they surely have the same level of skill and talent.
the pay gap in sports between men and women is fucking insane.
The pay gaps, not to mention lack of sponsorships for women athletes who donât look like models is insane. If you weigh over 250 pounds, no one will sponsor you. Itâs why most female Olympic-class weightlifters live in poverty/out of their cars.
okay! yes this post is hella depressing but also, the world surf league actually announced equal pay for men and women last fall! this is the first big american sport league to do so. a spokesperson: âIt doesnât end here, This doesnât just elevate the women. This really elevates surfing as a whole.â women were also added to the big wave (elite surf competitions) roster, in large part thanks to badass woman surfer activist Bianca Valenti. This NYT article is a snapshot of her at Jaws, one of the two biggest surf competitions. â She felt a burden to prove that female big-wave surfers can keep up with men â more so because she helped found, in 2016, the Committee for Equity in Womenâs Surfing, an activist group that started with the modest ambition of getting women invited to big-wave contests, from which they had always been excluded, and grew unexpectedly into a reckoning for the global sport of competitive surfing.â But it also details the entire history of women in surfing.
The WBNA/NBA pay gap briefly made the news last year, but players arenât even asking for equal pay, because they know thatâs unrealistic. Liz Cambage (Dallas) says, âIâm tired of people thinking that us players are asking for the same type of money as NBA players. We are asking for the same percentage of revenue shared within our CBA. NBA players receive around 50 percent of shared revenue within their league, whereas we receive around 20 percent.âÂ
@the owners and chairs of these organizations. Make mockeries of them. Be their bad press.
But also? Every sport has a history of badass women. Learn and tell their stories. I learned Biancaâs story in an episode of she explores and Iâm telling it now. Every sport has women trying to fight it from within â support them on the outside by raising awareness of their organization, supporting them financially (either by direct dollars or designating as the charity for amazon, at your grocery store, etc.), and telling their stories. Listen to these athletes. Support their organizations. Elevate their voices.Â
âLook at you, you used to whine so much about seeing strange things. But youâre all grown up now. Itâs enough to make me feel reassured.â
Can we just appreciate kang seung mo with bangs đ
