Alright, that was one long and productive day for the McLendon’s. It’s hard to believe it was only one day! They were up early to have the twins and it all took time from there.

Day 13 Ending Cash: §72,631 Day 13 Increase: §19,727

You can definitely see how much money you can bring in selling high-value paintings done on the Digitalistic Sketchpad. The High Performance Upgrade means sims paint at lightening speed, and because the paintings go to inventory, you can stack the interactions with the sketchpad so painters can do six or seven of them at a time.

In spite of the exhaustion of pregnancy, Carley loves being a mom!

Dhruv’s learning some new tricks at the stove, and for once since Conner aged to toddler, he and Carley manage to eat some franks and beans together. No matter it will give them both horrendous gas later. It tastes great!

Dhruv finishes another novel and then heads to the mailbox to start selling his books to publishers around Del Sol Valley. He has high hopes for his success! 

I believe at this point he has three more books to publish, plus write five excellent books. This is a time consuming aspiration, and I’d still like to get him through Painter and Music.

In a rare mother-son bonding moment, Carley and Conner paint together on their tablets. Then Carley changes back into her hospital gown to research her plants.

When they’re finished, Conner continues to work with his blocks while Dhruv cranks out another book.

As soon as they’re home, it’s time to work on getting the fourth nooboo into Generation 2. Carley is exasperated, not only with pregnancy, but it seems with the task of becoming pregnant.

Dhruv has finally found a book to read while Carley has the nooboo extracted. Boy! is he in for a surprise.

While Carley puts her life on the line to deliver their nooboo, Dhruv wanders the halls, feeling lost and worried.

Dhruv: Look, Dr. Intern. I’m trusting you with my wife and child’s life. Do NOT get demoted. Okay?

Carley: Oh. Well this is awkward.

For those of you who haven’t been following along, Roxana (the blonde) is the one who delivered Conner, Carley’s previous nooboo. Now she’s gone from Medical Intern to Assistant, which has to be rather embarrassing. Maybe she was demoted for storming into Carley’s house and lecturing her about her parenting skills?

Outside the hospital on the way to deliver the nooboo, Carley continues to be less concerned about her labor and delivery than Dhruv is.

Carley goes into labor with NooBoo #2 in the middle of the night. Dhruv seems to notice before she does.

Day 12 saw a lot of skill improvements for Conner, which was exciting. The Micro Home bonuses are the only reason I’m accomplishing this, though. I cannot imagine trying to train a toddler all the way up without these bonuses. Fortunately, I do believe that as long as I keep the house on a single floor, I can achieve a micro-home and fit everybody in it, as long as I don’t use floor tiles.
