I just posted this on the AC subreddit and so thought I’d share it here as well. I was looking at this picture from AC Initiates, showing Shaun and Rebecca in early 2013 visiting the Farm in South Dakota where Desmond grew up, and I just noticed something.

At the bottom of the image is a broken plank of wood that says “Des” and below that is the letter “8” followed by a horizontal line, and then below that the letter “7” with another horizontal line. I was a little confused by this at first but it quickly dawned on me what it was.

Desmond’s parents were measuring his height every year to see how much he had grown. ;_;
