And if you thought the wood was contemporary art, then my candid shot of Stephen should be too! He loves food and gaming! He has a Youtube Channel too!

In conjunction with our introduction series on #instagram, I’ll be introducing snippets of the #uncoskuad on Tumblr too!
Meet Jess. She likes to make sure her shots are composed. She has been designing our logos and loves nothing apparently. Except being alone.
She also hunts Pokemon! Maybe she’s searching for that Dragonite…
A little sneak peak into the kind of editing we’ll be doing on the BTS! Although it’ll be a while before we upload full BTS episodes! Hopefully you guys are patient! :D
We’re testing out themes for the IG account: https://www.instagram.com/untitled.andco/?hl=en
It took about 5-6 attempts to get a theme that was liking that of a clean fade with desaturation (and just a bit of colour) from a photo that Stephen had.
Our process of (similar to dealing with audio mixing) was to write down our settings via VSCO (so saturation (-3), etc) and double checked them to Stephen’s photo reference. It was moreover tedious over anything, but was still good to see the progress between the initial settings and then seeing a finalised product. Who knows we might tweak it again soon, but we’d like to keep our IG consistent.
We wanted to provoke a mood, and whilst the settings we are currently using kinda shows a lazy sunday vibe, with each photo (especially those with more colour) it really has this throwback feel to it! What do you guys think?
Untitled...
There’s the constant problem of what? and how? when writing music. What makes it good? Is it the fact that it’s completely original to the point that it has no relevance or similarity to any other song, rendering it completely isolated as an artwork/art form in comparison to other songs of the same genre? Or is it the fact that it has origins and influences dating from centuries ago all the way up to recent times with modern manipulation within the digital era?
When I was tasked to create mood and sample pieces for Untitled., I thought yeah this should be easy. It’s all in the mindset! I believe this was a good approach, but with every musician out there, you can’t help but stick too close to the guidelines that you become a fraud. My struggle as a composer is often finding out that my songwriting is very similar to my favourite artists, bands and composers. How do I prevent this from happening? How do I stay objective but at the same time write something completely me? My stylistic understanding of the genre and of songwriting itself? Sometimes when you write something good, it kind of feels like a dream. It’s a release into the void and it’s good to see something you worked for become a finished product! But how to recreate that ideal happiness for a personal song project (or for that matter, any project, including Untitled.) I hope as a content creator, and as a creative mind, I am able to provide myself the same happiness I do when writing music, as well as making my team happy with our goals and purposes. I hope you guys (if you ever read this) happy that there will be content from our lives, including BTS/vlogs, blogs, photos and music!
It’s daunting, but it’s worth taking a risk

One of our photos from our initial meet up! It was a productive 3-4hrs of design, discussion, eating food and enjoying each other’s company. And to think that we could understand and work well with each other in such a casual setting sets a good tone for how we will interact once we grind down to business!
