So with the new Dynamaxing feature in Pokémon sword and shield everyone’s focused on what happens if you dynamax a wailord but my I turn your attention to cosmeom for a second. A friend’s group chat points out Cosmeom should probably be feared a little more and even did the math.
So we can deduct from watching the Pokémon direct that every Pokémon would end up dynamaxed to about the same size, because grookey and eldegoss are not the same size but dynamaxed they are. So for science sake let’s say they all grow to about 10 meters in height. Cosmeom’s only a tiny .1 meter in height, but weighs an astonishing 2204.4 pounds. Since it’s a sphere in shape you can figure out jut how much dynamaxed cosmeom would weigh. Assume it’s volume is 0,000,524m^3 so density is 1908 metric tons per meter cubed. To reference the densest element we know of called osmium at a density of 2259 so it’s already getting kinda close to this this. Scaling this up to a 10 meter tall would give it a volume of 523,6 cubic meters and a weight of 999028.8, almost a million metric tons. SO TO SUMMERISE THIS FUCKER COULD TEAR SPACE TIME. BUT ASSUMING IT DIDN’T THIS GIGANTIC BALL OF UNREALISTIC MASS WOULD STILL MOST LIKELY NEED 9.8 GIGAJOULES A SECOND TO KEEP IT FLOATING A METER AWAY FROM THE GROUND THAT GOD FORBIT IT TOUCH BECAUSE IT WOULD PROBABLY BE ABLE TO GENTLY BRUSH EARTH AND TURN IT TO DUST. THANK YOU FOR COMING TO MY TED TALK.
Corviknight!
Probably the first time I’ve gotten to make (and finish) a drawing on the day of a Pokémon direct reveal

Five new Pokemon revealed in the Pokemon Direct!
the biggest questions detective pikachu answered
no one but professional trainers has a full team of 6 in the pokemon universe because it would be a fucking gigantic hassle to deal with 6 animals, let alone different types that need different things
some people don’t evolve their pokemon because imagine having a fucking cat and then you can choose to make the cat five times as big and strong. would you do this if you weren’t battling.
Technically if your cat isn’t battling it doesn’t evolve.
That does however give cat owners a strong incentive to not let their cat outside, because realistically any cat that is allowed to roam free is gonna rack up exp until it evolves.
I let my litten out one day and a week later incineroar rips my door off and demands wet food only

“You are extremely loyal, and guided by a strong moral code.” & “You can be too modest, however, and can come across as pretentious to others.”
Pretty good for stupid fan quiz
Delphox. Not the strongest pokemon, but I just have a special attachment to it. First starter!
I really liked Delphox!! People were so critical of it, I chose it for playing X!

Poketober Day 8 - Doublade
When Honedge evolves, it divides into two swords, which cooperate via telepathy to coordinate attacks and slash their enemies to ribbons.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!! ✨🍀✨
