Ever only know her by her last name
was enough to judge, more they do not want to learn
never ever see her tear-strucken face
at times when it gets too much and she brakes
over everything that they whisper
a faceless community without register
unreachable and cold like a chilly winters night
the snow storm of words she tries to fight
in the darkness, alone on the lonely hill
feels the wind, the disgust, the chill
of their cause to hurt, why do they care
stands in the stars why they are able to dare
the words, why can they struck so hard
why dare they mean something at last
feels like something long has died
while the cold coming from outside
built a mask around her true face. Indifference
is the new fashion of the ice-princess
but sadly the ice did not creep deep enough
her heart still bleeds, leaking every bit of forgotten love
loosing herself in the whisperer’s words
everything she could loose with that already lost
until the shadows that don’t think twice
before uttering rumours, creep into her bones
she hates this changing, her public self
it is easier to wear the mask, forget the other face
never asked for the shadows, never wanted the fame
now in spot-light, only defined by her last name
they never had to see her tear-strucken face
only recognising ice in the mirror, smiling, never again to break
