Salt Cleansing

This simple rite makes use of salt and a plate to remove unwanted energies. It can be added to, but it's main purpose is simply to just clear the aura.

Salt is placed on a plate and the intent taken to cleanse the self of any heaviness, negative or unwanted energies as well as imbalances. Thereafter, the hands are placed on the salt.

Meditate for a few minutes, just letting everything fall into the salt. Take note of any thoughts that come up, any images or patterns. In that moment, just focus on letting whatever needs to express itself come forward.

When done, wash the salt off the plates and off the hands. You can use a blessing oil to replace the energy you got rid of or simply say any prayer you want.

For a protective charm, camphor and salt can be wrapped up in a piece of paper with a protective amulet written on it. The camphor helps clean but also promote emotional stability and insight.
