I’ll keep this short, a phrase I often fail to deliver on, but I will this time.
under-rune is done.
At least for the foreseeable future.
I know that makes it seem temporary but I mean that fully. Due to tumblr’s falling out with a ton of artists and implementing poor systems to flag a lot of art- a lot of artists have left the site. And I realize it’s in poor taste of me to give up based on that when so many wonderful creators are either enduring or making it through this just fine, but that’s pretty much what I’m doing.
Or at least half of it, the other half being personal related and largely unimportant.
This is a hard job, take that as you will. It’s difficult for someone like me to maintain and I’ve done so to great success in the past despite my own struggles, again unimportant.
It’s too hard to do right now, and with tumblr seemingly dissolving before my very eyes after seven years of being my social of choice, it’s not exactly a happy time which makes things even harder.
The blog will not be deleted, at least not by my own hand, and if- a lot- changes then maybe posts will resume, but I’m, and it pains me to say it, not expecting as much.
Instead I’m looking to focus on me for a while, and then seek a new outlet for offering support and bringing more eyes to creators in the future. I would love to continue this blog but I simply don’t have the right headspace for it right now and the platform is less valuable by the day.
I thank all those who created works presented on this blog, and all those who joined in by reblogging with their own comments and thoughts. I wish you all a wonderful new year and I apologize for letting things sorta just ‘end’.
