My friends at small liberal arts colleges: I had a cold so I tweeted my professor that I wasn’t coming to class so he facebook messaged me his lecture notes and the homework for the week

Me at a large engineering state school: My professor said if we miss a lab bc we’re sick and we don’t present our TA with our own death certificate or a doctors note confirming we were in a coma for the duration of lab then we fail the whole course
