- You’re an introvert and you’re stuck in your mind a lot of the time, meaning that Agni has plenty of opportunities to just… Watch you. Not in a creepy way, but in a ‘holy shit how is this beautiful person with me?’ kinda way. He adores the look in your eyes when you’re thinking, and loathes breaking you from your thoughts. You’re socially awkward, which he finds adorable and tbh it was what caught his attention in the first place.

- You like puns and sarcasm as a way of getting to know people and while Agni isn’t terribly sarcastic, he is quite observant and may make the odd dry comment depending on how bitter his mood is. He’s rarely like that though so when he is, he makes you laugh. You’re incredibly honest and he doesn’t find it annoyng at all, he actually finds it refreshing as men and women of the courts and at social events tend to be liars, so your honesty is like a breath of fresh air.

- Your hobbies are relaxing, expressive and also quite challenging. Agni speaks fluent English and Indian, so the fact that you’re bi-lingual is also pretty cool and he’d love to listen to you practice or learn French. Sebastian knows French fluently and so does Ciel, so the two of them often lapse into French around you - purely coincidental, of course - to help you practice in their own ways.

I kind of want O!Ciel’s name to be Terrence. The root “Terra” is from the Roman Goddess of earth (Terra, or Gaea in Greek). That way while Ciel’s name means “sky”, Terrence name means “earth”.

Yana’s comments on same-sex love in mangas

These tweets are in reference to the latest news that a famous manga called “BANANA FISH” will get an anime adaption next year. The series deals with same-sex love and there are some discussions among fans whether it’s BL or not. (more info) 

Why can’t we just agree that an interesting manga is still interesting even if it deals with same-sex love (not just sexual love)? It’s weird that whenever there’s a male-male pair there are people who say “It’s targeting FUJOSHI!!!” and other people who deny it. Maybe they deny it in that love is not the series’ main theme, but either way, there are a lot of amazing works out there that deal with same-sex love… -Toboso      

I used to draw BL mangas in the past, but gave up on it because it was too difficult. I think mangas that feature love - be it homosexual or heterosexual - are extremely energetic. For me, depicting love is more difficult than drawing zombie battles and tanks…. -Toboso

I’m really bad at thinking of monologues, that’s why I think monologues that are often used in romance mangas and through which we readers can smoothly understand the characters’ feelings are a very skillful technique. I read many shojo mangas after I came of age, but I really think it’s an interesting genre. -Toboso

If you are referring to the Grell debate then maybe you should do some research before sending anonymous messages to my ask box (go use this time to get some guts), I don’t ship Grell with anyone, first of all, so “smexy yaoi desu x3″ (really?) is not why. Update on London Blood!

To those reading, I am actively working on chapter 3, as of now I’m gathering medical information to further progress in the story. This is turning into a horror story, I have never written horror before so I am doing a lot of revising and re doing. A very good doctor friend has been helping me along the way, shout out to you Ahmed! There’s a lot of things hidden throughout the chapter, hints, and clues to help you figure out what the hell is going on with the characters!

Since Undertaker pulled up Claudia's locket, when he repeated his advice to Ciel, I think it's safe to assume that Claudia didn't meet a pleasant or natural end. But I also think that there isn't anything that proves that the woman, who we assume to be Claudia was Claudia. She could be Vincent's aunt, Claudia's sister, who died childless and left the estate to her nephew. Has it ever been mentioned that Claudia was the Watchdog and countess of Phantomhive before Vincent?

Yeah, Claudia most likely didn’t die a natural death. And UT’s words may refer to either the people on his lockets or to previous Phantomhives/Watchdogs (Vincent and Claudia, I assume). 

That also makes it seem like in both cases (Vincent’s and Claudia’s) their job as Watchdog may have been the reason for their downfall and that now Ciel is on the same way…

You’re right that, until now, no one has really explicitly said that Claudia was the Watchdog. However, from what we’ve learnt so far this is quite certain, I’d say. We know that the duty as Watchdog is something that has been passed on in the Phantomhive family line. We also know for certain that Claudia and Cedric are Vincent’s parents.

Sure, there’s the possibility that Claudia was married to someone else who doesn’t appear in that family tree. BUT we also know that the Watchdog before Vincent was a woman. We’ve seen the line of Watchdog successors twice now and both times the same woman came before Vincent.

Also, we know that Vincent became the Watchdog quite early. In the flashback of the ‘Blue Miracle’ we saw Vincent holding a letter from the Queen so he most likely was the Watchdog then already.

Claudia died when he was 15 years old, so that would fit. Even if there had been a childless aunt she must have died around the same time Claudia did for Vincent to inherit the title around that time.

I guess we can’t completely prove yet that there really wasn’t an aunt or some other female relative but everything fits better with Claudia being the Watchdog. It could explain how she met Undertaker (since he seems to have been an informant for the Watchdogs for a long time already), why she was probably killed (maybe he same reason why Vincent was killed), where Frances learnt to fight so well (I assume as the Watchdog Claudia knew quite a few things about how to defend herself as well) and it would also fit with Undertaker’s words about warning previous generations.

Claudia seems to have some importance for the story with her name appearing from time to time and all the mysteries surrounding her and her connection to Undertaker. But we’ve never heard of a possible sister that she may have had. So when we finally learn more about the Phantomhives’ past I’m sure there’ll be a focus on Claudia and with all the connections and the importance of the duty as Watchdog (which is probably the trigger for most of what has happened to the Phantomhives) I’m pretty sure she was the one holding that title, as well.

Frances might be the last person, who can tell anything about Claudia. Alex B. is the only other name that is visible on the mourning chain, when showed on page 20 in 'Glide'. On the next page we can see that he died on april 20th 1854. Perhaps he is supposed to be the key to a unasked question later on.

Undertaker would be another person who surely can tell something about Claudia. And the Queen probably, too, but I think it’s more likely that we’ll learn more about Claudia from either Undertaker or Frances.

About the lockets, Yana has drawn all of them (with names and dates) in an artbook for Book of Circus (take a look here) but yes, in the manga the only locket that’s focused on (other than Claudia’s) is Alex B.’s. So maybe that means he has some importance, too, even though he died 15 years before Claudia. I guess all lockets surely have an importance to Undertaker and even if Sebastian couldn’t find a connection between those people there must be some.
