I mean the song more strongly speaks to self isolation through subconsciously playing into a self deprecating image of one's self. But the song plays into this admiration of another person that you will never be good enough for. All of which I think could be what jax's development later exposes.

Don't you guys think it's weird that in chp4, when kris and the soul are separated, the person talking with kris talks as though they aren't speaking with kris?

"Kris can't survive without the soul." (I might be paraphrasing) instead of "you can't survive without a soul."

Idk I just think there's more going on than just the player and kris fighting for control

She has to be the one who returns. Ekko has too many responsibilities in the Undercity atm to simply devoting himself to looking for her. That is of course, assuming he thinks she's alive. He has the Firelights and the Undercity to look after, and rebuilding the community after the Invasion is gonna be a long process. Time (heh) will simply pass quickly.

Jinx on the other hand is more free. By faking her own death, she's cut herself away from being tied down in any fashion. She can travel the world, she can move to a new place. She can return to Zaun whenever she wants and she has the mobility to do so sneakily if she so chooses. I do think she's gonna have to be the one to do it.

Also, symbolically speaking, Jinx has always been running from the past. She need to be the one who makes the choice of facing it and thats going to be the end of whatever arc she going on outside of Arcane.

Sevika does have a character arc. From loyal supporter and right-hand man to leader.

She lives through and is at the centre of all three eras of Zaun that we see.

First she is close enough to Vander for her betrayal to be notable, she knows and admires how he leads and follows him because of it. She knows that community is important for them to thrive. While we don't see her reasoning as to why she betrayed Vander there are some possibilities. Perhaps it wasn't working? We know that with Vanders rule things were stagnant, things weren't getting better. I personally think that Silco told her of Vander trying to kill him. This would break down Vanders philosophy and make her question him.

Shes there for Silcos reign. Doing a lot more of the ground work than him. She sees him rule through power and manipulation. He breaks down the community so that he can poison and control it. Then she sees that fail, the second he is gone. Silco dies and everything he built falls down because without a community everything depends on one person without any real foundation to fall on.

Shes there for Jinxs era, the only person really close. She learns that sometimes being a symbol or an idea does more for the cause than any action. Jinx exists as this idea of a revolution without any rhyme or reason and people follow her instead or rallying together under actual leadership. Then she sees how a symbol means nothing if the symbol is fighting tooth and nail against being your symbol.

Through out the show Sevika learns three of the most important aspects of a leader: community, control and inspiration.

All of the past leaders that she worked with only had one aspect and everyone suffered for it, but Sevika is the only person who was close enough to see this. Now she's the leader, she represents Zaun.

Her story isn't a focus or very overt, but it is there. Someone who doesn't seem fit to rule, someone who doesn't want to rule, growing into the best ruler due their journey as a soldier, as a right-hand man.

You can even see it in the role she plays in each era. For Vander she was notable but more a follower. She was Silcos second in command, making sure everything ran smoothly so his authority couldn't be undermined. With Jinx she was apart of the vision, saw what no one else could and even tried to take over when she recognised that Jinx wasn't going to.

Cant believe I haven't seen anyone talk about how one of the reasons Jayce doesn't make it to the alt time line is probably because his alt self 100% committed suicide after Vi died.

The thing with klaus is that his problem is always over indulgence. He doesnt know when to stop, he cant stop, and in season 4 that stretches into his obsession with staying safe. This, like many things in season 4, could have been amazing to see if it had been written better. It would have been very interesting to see this side to his character, a better understanding of his addictions and struggles. But no he got cast off in a pointless side quest like everyone else and then died.

Unironically, the funniest part of tuas4 is that a version of five decided to make that cafe in the subway station and everything that's served there is bad. Five chose that menu knowing what he, and other fives, like and made the active choice to make the coffee taste bad and the food incorrect.

Guys theres is a lot wrong with season 4 but the squid and Jennifer isn't one of them, women became spontaneously pregnant due to the marigold and so did the squid due to the Durango. While in universe it being a squid doesnt make a ton of sense, the reason is clearly because her story centres around ben. Like two sides of the same coin type shit.

Hes connected to some squid esc eldritch being, and she is born from a squid in the most eldritch and horrifying way they could think of. They are both haunted by this thing that they dont really understand. It's not written to make sense in universe it's written symbolically. They've been connected from the start; that's why, as far as we are aware, it always those two. It's always ben and Jennifer, two souls born of opposing forces. It could have been a really nice story with a bitter sweet ending had the writers not butchered it.

I'm glad you asked with absolutely zero coercion from me.

You see I just notice a pattern where our more powerful demigods have power levels that at least some what correlate to the relationship between their parents.

Like percy, literally one of the most powerful demigods to ever exist, his father adored Sally. Its cannon that posiden genuinely cared for her and held actual love for her.

And hades seems to have genuinely cared for Maria Di Angelo because he had two children with her. And while we don't get a lot from Bianca, Nico has some of the most insane powers both in strength and the number of things he can do.

And zues must have felt some way for Beryl Grace because he broke the great promise for her and when told he had to have another child he chose her. His lack of genuine feelings for her would also explain why Jason and Thalias abilities, while powerful, feel rather tame compared to Percy and Nico.

But these are the big three they were going to be powerful no matter what.

But Piper being able to charm speak makes more sense when you consider that maybe aphrodity really liked pipers father. I'd doesn't have to be that she loved him to the same degree has other god did their partners, but Tristan McLean would be a perfect match for how Aphrodity is portrayed in pjo. We know she likes drama, especially romance drama, we know she enjoys tampering with and getting involved in the lives of people because she already views mortals romance as her own personal drama series. I dont know about you but I think she would at least enjoy spending time with a famous actor who everyone fawns over.

I think my favourite example is Hazel because I don't think Pluto particularly liked hazels mother, he was answering the summons and prayers of a woman with actual magic that is recognised by Hecate. And Hazel, while strong, doesn't have most out there abilities, her control over minerals isn't that grand and its the way she uses it that makes it so powerful, you have to consider that a lot of her best moments when using this ability are rather circumstantial and her power is rather limited. It's the same for her tunnel ability, it's not that she has a super powerful ability and more so that she is smart and resourceful. Her mist ability isn't even something she got from Pluto, it was inherited from her mother who was a recognised witch.

It's always "asexual people can have sex" or "aromantic people can be in relationships" until its a headcannon instead of canon that a character is either of thoes things.

Then it's "b-but they had sex" or "they've Been in relationships", because people can't handle aromantic and asexual characters, a majority of people only know anything about these identities so they can justify ignoring aro and ace people. At least in fandom anyway
