Personally, as mentioned before my oipert is a mastiff, he's pretty small for one, but the fact is that I knew I was going to raise a big big boy, so I had A Lot of rules, including some very 'annoying' and 'tedious' ones. I got a lot of shit from basically everyone while I was training him, but I didn't let it stop me. The annoying and tedious rules helped a lot, because I was giving more room for him to break certain rules, if that makes any sense? Like I don't like mooching, but you can be rewarded for minding your own business, right? Or not being allowed on certain furniture without permission, which a puppy of course will do. But it gave us both A lot of room to learn how the rules are gonna work. As he got older, I'd lessen some of the more on obnxious ones, but all of his fundamentals were already made around what I actually wanted. I was kinda planning for him to be a lot more rebellious than he was, but I also was like 17, unemployed, and not in school so I had the time to get where I wanted to be.

Everyone that talked shit about my methods only praise me now, and I've even gotten offers to train some of their dogs☠️
