BUDDING WEEDS | OPEN PRAIRIEMOSS KITTEN TRYOUTS!

Despite the tensions between Newlight and Prairiemoss, Budchime and Wonderweed have been seeing one another in secret, falling in love against a backdrop of border skirmishes and petty grudges. While both parents are excited for their little family and blossoming relationship– can good intentions and love conquer all? Or will the turmoil facing the outposts thwart the lovers?  These tryouts run from August 9th to August 23rd and will grant you a grub (kitten) character in Prairiemoss! Our third wave of tryouts is OPEN! Grubnapped! and Haven from Harm | May 31st - June 15th "Slither and Shimmer, two raiders, have stolen kittens from cats all across the Underlair! However, the original parents aren’t very happy that their little bundles of joy are missing and are quick to try and get their revenge on the pair of swindlers. To avoid the putting the kittens in harm's way, the forlorn raiders leave them in the care of Newlight... At the same time, Outsiders, drawn by the sounds of crying grubs, show up at Newlight's outpost! Due to the uptick in wolfbat hostility, they decide to remain in Newlight for refuge from the wild beasts." More information on these tryouts can be found here! Basic Tryout Info: - Grubnapped! tryouts can be 1-5 cycles (moons) old and have a provided namepool! - Haven from Harm tryouts can be 15 - 50 cycles old and will have outsider origins, meaning that they will be training under a mentor for the first few cycles in Newlight. - These tryouts are spectators-only, we would love to try and get some new faces in! I'm happy to announce that my commissons are open!!!

After much deliberation (and desperation due to my current financial situation) I've sat down and made a comm page I'm proud of. My turnaround time will be from 1-2 weeks and I'm accepting every kind of commission listed down below.

Me and my fiance have been struggling to find work for over 6 months now and that along with extreme turmoil with our roommates has caused an ultimatum to be issued to us: if we don't find work by April we will be kicked out. After coming out as trans to my family I have only two family members who accepted me, both of which are in no position to support the both of us while we look for work and my fiance's family also has nowhere for us to stay. That alongside the fact that we live in a state with no family or friends to speak of. Suffice to say we are extremely desperate to get out of this situation and live on our own. We need any help we can get, so for the time being, I see this as my full time job.

As stated in the comm page I also have a kofi with my comms posted, so that alongside the other listed contacts are the best for reaching out to and supporting me.

I've been having an absolute blast in this rp for the two months I've been in it, in large part because everyone in here has been so welcoming to me as a new member of the community. there's lots of opportunity to contribute to the world of the Underlair, to connect with awesome npcs, to create crazy-looking ocs (THERE'S SO MUCH DESIGN FREEDOM!!!), and to learn about the vibrant critters staff have created, and these are all things I adore in rp spaces. If you like nature at all, I'm sure you'll love it too! This is like heaven for me as an ecology/conservation major. Tryouts are currently open until April 19th for a new outpost called "Prairiemoss". This is your chance to make an awesome established outpost member and interact with all the cool new npcs!! With 6-8 slots open, it's a pretty big opening too

"Prairiemoss is one of the smaller outposts found throughout the Underlair, and act as an even tighter-knit community than Newlight, sharing close bonds and kinship with one another even beyond blood. They pride themselves in the thrill of hunts- often taking on bigger game.

Recently, they've been having troubles with boarbats and what seems to be an ongoing streak of bad luck... Will you work hard to chase the nasty boarbats away? Or get yourself entangled in the rife political workings of the outpost?"

Basic tryout info: - Cats can be 5 cycles (moons) old, to 50 cycles old! - Cats can be born and raised in Prairiemoss, or outsiders joining the outpost for the first time! - Applicants can tryout for a Senior leadership position! - Cats can have relations with the NPCs listed, just reach out in a ticket!
