Gonna be real

The second story is finished and has been for A WHILE and I COULD post it

But I don't want to

I'm having fun adding deltarune stuff into it as we get more of that game and I've already made major changes to my plans based that game

Hometown completely replaced a major setting in the story and I think it's better for it and the characters are fun and I wanna make use of them

So while I never dropped this story and I still love writing stuff set in all the time, it's just gonna stay unposted for now

I just don't wanna tie my hands you know? There's already things I kinda regret I can't go back and change about the first part cause its already out in the world

I think the first part stands on it's own pretty well so it being all thats posted doesn't really bother me all that much personally

I'm so glad Hiveswap came out.

It gave me a whole new album of music to play in the background while writing the fic.

It's hard to find music that sound like Undertale.

I left it ambiguous but I always pictured this as the song Fancy sang for Chara.

They really like songs like this.

Good.

We had a cross-country move and then my laptop stopped working for a long time and through their combined effort I missed out on a lot of writing time but I am still working on it though my hope of finishing before New Years like with part one might be shot dead.

Blerg.

Thanks for checking in tho. It's really sweet of you. Sorry I'm so quiet and inactive on here.

If you're worried I forgot about it or got bored, don't be. I love these characters and this game just as much as I always have and I still enjoy writing them.

I'm just slow and easily distract away into writing scenes that would take place in the part after this one rather than finishing up this one.

I guess I could just tell you what it's about.

This part is gonna be the first year above ground and all that comes with that.

There are politics and drama and- I'm lying. There's no drama.

You read the first part, do I write drama? No. I write friendship and family fluff and walking around exploring the world around you while meeting new people.

And worldbuilding. My favorite thing.

I have this big cast of characters and I'm branching out beyond just Fancy, Frisk and Chara's relationship more.

In Undertale you just kinda meet these awesome characters, become friends with them and then you say goodbye and get a postcard of their lives like a year later.

I gonna get to those scenes in the credits and have all those relationships grow deeper as I get there.

So yeah, that’s what's you're gonna be reading when it's done.

What color was your SOUL before the kids fixed it up Fancy. I don't think it was ever said out loud. Have your family and you run into any problems because you people technically didn't exist in this world before a few days ago?

[* My SOUL is purple but it normally has a heavy tint of red from exposure to the kids’ DETERMINATION.

* It’s still the same color now but the stuff holding it together is more of a rainbow.

* And, well, the thing is… we do exist? This world is… it’s not exactly the same. There was no music or monsters on the other side and I’m no expert but I’m 99.9% sure Ebott didn’t exist either.

* But it’s still the same celebrities and the other countries still exist. My family hasn’t been back to America since this all started but that’s still where we came from. We still have our social media accounts and I’ve talked with people I know from before on the phone.

* We exist but I’m not sure yet what’s all different about the life this version of me lived.]
