Orchestrated medley of Undertale, but played by a real life orchestra!
(just gonna embed that here in case the top link doesn’t work)
I count: Fallen Down, Ruins, Heartache, Snowdin Town, Bonetrousle, Memory, Waterfall, It’s Raining Somewhere Else, Spear of Justice, Alphys, Spider Dance, Bergentruckung, Megalovania, Hopes and Dreams, SAVE the world, His Theme, Goodbye
OP wasn’t kidding; the first part is a little rough. If you are short on patience (or have low tolerance for intonation issues/missed notes), you might want to skip to 5:00 in. That’s when Snowdin Town starts and the arrangement gets some momentum going.
(As a side note, I actually love the arrangement of Heartache here, but it has some problems with intonation, missed notes, etc. Megalovania and Spider Dance are crisp as can be, but the first five minutes of the piece needed about two weeks more of rehearsal, because it seems like the musicians do not know those parts as well as some of the later parts.)
This is a very long arrangement, and for sheer length I’m willing to cut a little slack to the orchestra. There are some parts that really sparkle. Snowdin Town is very good, and Spider Dance and Megalovania and Bonetrousle are very good. Memory and Waterfall are also quite good, albeit much more simple.
The percussion is good throughout. There are some outstanding soloists, and some other great melodies interspersed throughout. Props to the people who did the arrangement- I’ve done arranging work like this, and I would guess that many hours went into this arrangement. Also props to the orchestra, because 24 minutes of music would have taken many hours of rehearsal to perfect. The final result is imperfect but still fun to listen to, and I have nothing but the highest respect for you guys.
