REVOLUTION All your WALLS are breaking down It's time you had a TASTE of losing Time the table's TURNED around I see a glimpse of recognition But it's too late ugh it's too late And what you thought was your best decision Just became your WORST MISTAKE
always the epitome of confidence, katherine never failed to make her presence known, aside from the rare case where she wanted to remain incognito. but with her new reigning title as queen of the underworld, nothing would stop her, she felt invincible. still, seeking out revenge on the mikaelsonâs, klaus especially wasnât a task she took lightly, nor did she plan on dishing out hastily. they deserved whatever wrath they received.
now, however, katherine dressed to impress and draw attention, she pushed open the door to the cafe. after all,  enjoying herself was always apart of the plan once she returned to the land of the living. flashing an alluring smile at the barista the instant eyes locked, having acquainted herself well with the locals, finding entertainment in a select series of people.
â the usual, miss katherine? â the man asked before katherine even had a chance              to step up to the register. it was almost as if she had the town in its entirety       Â
wrapped around her dainty fingers and in a way, she did. " and this is how you earn yourself a loyal customer like myself, add one of your delicious peach fritters to my order, will you? iâve found myself craving them for days. â she responded, sliding cash across the counter, insisting they kept the tip.
turning away, having felt eyes on her from the moment she stepped foot inside the cafe, katherineâs dark, sultry lips pursed into a tight smile, maintaining her composure. after all, she had nothing to fear. spotting an intriguing figure with a seemingly NEW face sitting in the corner, katherine felt herself being drawn in their direction.Â
stepping away from the counter without her coffee, she coyly ventured across the room in their direction, opting for a seat just off to the side by the window, close enough to keep an eye yet far enough to avoid a rising suspicion.
waiting on the server to bring her treat and drink, katherine waited for just the right moment to cast her magic upon them causing them to slam straight into one of the tables, mug of HOTÂ coffee flying through the air and landing just on the table belonging to the other.
â Oh my ! â Â the woman cried out, glancing up in surprise horror, shaking her head in feigned dismay. â What an absolute mess, are you alright?â she asked, looking over towards the stranger.Â
âSo long as you keep up on the cardio youâll be fine.â Dean countered with a wink and a smile. âI may end up outside the quarter, just depends on where the job takes me.âÂ
âYeah, sheâs been here for a few years I think.â Something inside Dean warned him that caution would be advised, and instead of asking about Rebekah he jumped to the next subject glossing over it. He couldnât have explained why, just that some preservation instinct had kicked in, and he wasnât inclined to follow down that rabbit hole.Â
âI can understand that. Itâs not a bad spot by a long shot, but putting down roots would require heavy sleeping.âÂ
" Bit of a shame that thereâs only so few entertaining ways to keep up with cardio,â a brow arched upward, Katherineâs doing a one over shamelessly. âWhat kind of job is that, exactly? With so much travel, it certainly sounds exciting.â the raven haired beauty pried, not wanting to come off too eager, yet curious enough to dig for some truth.Â
âTwo years is a long time, Iâm sure if you were to ask around, one of the locals is bound to have heard of her. or maybe sheâs a regular of one of the many fine cafes around, canât hurt to ask around. Iâd offer my own hand in things, but two years surely has me beat.â Though, she knew the town and itâs locals like the back of her hand by now, Katherine figured it best not to reveal how much she truly did know of the place. That, and if he were to acquire about someone from one of the baristas, one of her minions was bound to overhear as she was certainly planning on keeping her tabs on this one.Â
âAnd far more tequila shots than my body can handle, something that rarely leads to a decent nightâs sleep.â She added with a bemused smile, eyes sparkling in her own amusement. âAnd what about you, Dean? Are you staying in the quarter?â Â
âI mean, you could live off of sugar and dough.â He laughed. âBut youâve also gotta have pie. Itâs in the rules.â He smiled charmingly, enjoying the simple act of flirting with a girl on the street. âThe French Quarter isnât that big of a place, I have a feeling youâll be seeing my face around.âÂ
The flush on her face made Dean feel more at home than he had in months. Hunting things, talking to his brother, trying to keep the world from being destroyed, these were all the difficult things in his life. Putting a smile on a pretty womanâs face though, that had always been a skillset that had more or less come easily to him.Â
âYeah, well Iâve gotta stick around for a little bit. Waiting on someone, and looking for that friend who isnât answering their phone.â He shrugged. âIâll admit though, there is something about this town that makes you want to stay. Place is a regular party. So Iâve gotta ask, do you live down in the Quarter, or out in one of the Wards?âÂ
Â
" I do believe after some time of living off such a diet, it'd start show in a very unflattering way.â She countered. â Is it now? And what if Iâm the kind of the girl that prefers not to play by the rules? What might happen to me then?â she slipped out in a soft, yet distinct whisper, a playful giggle echoing against the wind. â That is, if you intend to only stay within the bounds of the French Quarter, of course. But as youâre on business, I do imagine this to be your main priority.âÂ
It was easy, the flirtatious nature, putting up an act, it was something Katherine had perfected. Itâs how she managed to wrap so many poor souls around her finger. Never anything more than a game to her, after all, anything deeper was a GREAT weakness.Â
â You sound like someone who has their hands full with a very heavy plate, is your friend a local?â She questioned, careful not to seem too curious. âYou say that as though itâs a bad thing, there are worse cities to be drawn to. As much as I love the quarter, the idea of getting a peaceful nightâs sleep here seems near impossible.â Katherine answered, not quite wanting to reveal exactly where.Â
magnus heard a familiar voice behind him. he smiled and turned around âwell not everyone can age as gracefully as you katherineâ he hadnât seen in a long time. they used to be lovers back in the day. it was never serious, and both just enjoyed the fun of it. she had been on the run, and he was one of the few people who knew the mikealsons, and wanted to stay away from them. it was mutual benefit.Â
he walked up to her and hugged her âand here iâd never thought iâd see the day where katherine pierce would be in the same city as the mikealsons. i mean i have heard they were here, i havenât seen any of themâ he would do his best to avoid them. he was sure the only ones he actually liked was rebkeah and kol, but were daggered, because that was who klaus was. âwhat brings you here?â
â most certainly not, there wouldnât be any fun in that now, would there? â sultry sweet words spilled from rose tinted lips, eyes sparkling with a taste of the devil as her playful smile complimented them. katherine always had a soft spot for those that played along with her little games, whether it be a small or big one, she never failed to enjoy herself. after all, despite being on the run for far too many centuries, katherine always took the time to entertain herself.Â
nonchalantly returning the hug with half the effort, never having been one for embracing others with genuine hugs. she never saw a purpose in it. â one might go so far as to say the tables have turned.i have eyes on them everywhere, theyâre here. â katherine assured magnus, lips curving upward to a slight smirk. she was cautious in her choice of words, not wanting to risk revealing all to someone she hadnât seen in centuries. â what wouldnât bring me here? new orleans is a magical place.âÂ
Dean nodded, and answered her flirtations with a bit of his own. He might have been here on a job, and one with no leads at that, but it didnât mean he couldnât enjoy himself just a little while he was here. Even if the vibe he was getting from her was all over the place.Â
âIâll keep that in mind.â He said, grin a little cockier this time. âThey were on my list, but Iâll be sure to tell them Kat sent me.â He winked. âIâm Dean.âÂ
He adjusted to avoid anything that might resemble the actual truth, opting for the easier lies that had long since learned how to roll right off his tongue. âIs what it is. I donât tend to stay anywhere for too long. Then again, it means I can always come back.âÂ
Never known for being a shy individual, no matter the act she was playing at, Katherine enjoyed toying with new faces in different ways. Something about the other caught her attention, there was something more to him than meet the eye, that she was able to tell, but just what...she hoped to soon unravel. Still, despite her attire, Katherine maintained a coy demeanor.Â
âItâs a shame theyâre made up entirely of sugar and dough, otherwise I think I might start living off them.â A soft, contagious giggle echoing against the cold air. âDefinitely do, maybe weâll even find ourselves lucky enough to cross paths again once you do.â She added, feigning a flushed expression. âItâs truly a pleasure to meet you, Dean..â Katherine nodded, the name having a familiar ring to it, but with no surname it was impossible to know with a name like so.Â
There was something surely holding him back from what she saw in his eyes, though leaving some mystery always led to GREAT fun later. âThatâs understandable, there was a time in my life where I rarely stuck around a place for long,â the olive-skinned beauty admitted, hoping the reveal of some of her own truth would lead to learning more. âBut thereâs just some places that have the ability to draw you back just like that and New Orleans certainly is one of them, nor does it ever seem to disappoint.âÂ

I ran from my enemies for 500 years, and then one day, I stopped. Now a new enemy wants me dead. Sure I could run from the Travelers, but thereâs still one enemy that I can never escape, time. So call it pride or vanity, but after the life that Iâve led, I refuse to drift off into the sunset. This truly has been the role of a lifetime.
"Bonnie! Katherine cried out in terror the winds sweeping her away as the anchor to the other side wouldnât allow her to pass. Tears streaming down her cheeks, staining them and making her vision blurry. Nails clawing into the hardwood floor as her arms became battered and bruised. Not that it mattered, she was dead. It was then that she began to lose her grip, fingers slowly slipping away from the surface and she looked up at Bonnie one last time, eyes filled with nothing, but utter terror as she was sucked into oblivion and everything went dark.
Her vision impaired, all Katherine could see was blackness for the longest time, and slowly, her mind began to whirlwind and memories of her life flashed before her. Each and every bit, and slowly she began to relive the most painful of memories one by one.
The first, her buried in the sheets of her bed as she screamed a merciful scream at the human life that was being born just before her eyes. It was unlike any pain sheâd  experienced in her sixteen years of life. That single mistake, that single moment was the start of the beginning of the nightmare that became her existence. âCan I hold her?â The words echoed in her mind, a series of ugly sobs filling the room as her own father, her own flesh and blood took away her child, the one thing that couldâve possibly spared her from it all.
Then everything went black once more, the confined space where she was trapped filling with echoing sounds of horror, in all shapes in forms .A baby crying, her father yelling as she was forced out of her house, her home country, never to speak to them again.
A flash of light hitting her face moments later and she was drawn into yet another memory, there she was, alone at 16, cold and scared, already fighting for her life with little to nothing. Getting by on her looks and ability to charm men in, numerous of nights with numbed expressions. It wasnât until her paths crossed with a family of a greater terror than she could ever imagine. Being drawn in instantly by their charm, and standings in society, who could blame her?
Everything was so pleasant at the start, Katherine still the young, Katerina, much too naive to see the lies around her. The moment the truth was discovered, not only did her heart shatter for a second time in 18 years, but she needed an escape. Turning to Trevor, the man whoâd brought her to the Mikaelsonâs, she was assisted in running, only to reach an obstacle upon stopping at the little old cottage. Rose, who wasnât foolish enough to fall for the games of Katerina Petrova, was fully prepared to take her to Klaus.
Healing her with blood, Katherine took her own life moments later and the next chapter began. Fast forwarding some, she was now a new vampire on the run from the strongest family of blood suckers in existence, unable to be killed by anything, but a weapon that ceased to exist,.
The reliving of the memories continued to consume her every thought as she was sucked in and out of each one, some worse than others. The sight of her families blood decorating the walls, and their bodies the scattered throughout the home sheâd once known as her own, she had nothing. The pain doubled from being a vampire, it was as if her heart was breaking in two, yet now she was dead. Katherine Pierce, the one who always survived, dead and now suffering in the pits of oblivion as she relived every painful moment in her life.
A story begun, because a naive little girl had desperately wanted love, and when she first stumbled upon it, she was brought a daughter, another life, but just as her first âloveâ, the life was torn from her without a chance to cradle her. She couldâve been a good mother.
Blamed for the horrors brought to her life, yet no one looked toward the horrors that she suffered. A girl at 18, in desperate need of a home, taken in by a seemingly wealthy and decent family, only to be deceived, because she was a Petrova doppelgÀnger. To be sacrificed,  because a selfish man wanted more power than already possessed. Misjudged for going through life with the life motto of better you die than I, Katherine became a warrior, a soldier in a fight for her own life, Who could blame a girl at 18 for wanting to live? Only to be killed half a century later, a month or so after finding her believed to be dead daughter. She was made this way, sculpted by her enemies into the monster that iswas Katherine Pierce.
Left in a pit of her own thoughts, Katherine felt something new. A tug, something pulling her away, equally as brutal in comparison to the day she died, she couldnât help her series of thoughts. This was it. The terrors in her mind would be whisked away, and everything would become a pitch black and nothing, not even the memories of Katherine Pierce would continue to live on. She was passing.
Blinded by a sudden gush of light beaming against her, she was dragged onto a hard surface. Dirt, beneath her hands, she was able to move. How? Pushing herself up, her eyes taking moments to adjust, before finally forcing them to flicker open, she looked around in befuddlement, uncertain if this was the start of another chapter in the nightmare that is Katherine Pierceâs life.
Once standing, Katherineâs head turned and she caught glimpse of the oh so famous town centre, beloved home of many. For the first time in what seemed like years, a smirk tugged once more at the corner of her lips and a familiar smug expression settled on her face.
She was back, the elusive Katherine Pierce was back.
so, as it would seem, iâm caught up on replies and have replied to all open starters ( i believe )...which means, i definitely need more plots and threads. so, if we have yet to thread, please give the little heart a click and iâll come to you either on here or in discord. katerina is certainly here to cause some damage.Â
Dean hadnât quite noticed her approaching, more intent on scanning the crowd for a particular blonde, but once his eyes did slip over he caught himself checking her out. He couldnât deny that there was something dangerous about her, but her voice didnât quite match up to the leather and boots she was wearing.Â
âNot this trip.â Dean chose his words carefully, unsure of whether this woman was a threat or just another bystander. âJust got into town this morning, and stumbled onto this.â He gestured to the festival around them. âBut they are on my list for places to check out.â His lips turned into a charming smile.Â
âNice of you to offer a suggestion though. Gotta admit itâs been a few years since the last time I was able to stay for more than a few hours before rolling out again.â
The petite, raven haired beauty had long since mastered moving in stealth, quiet as a mouse unless she wanted to be heard. That was one of the many reasons sheâd managed to survive the earth for so long, despite the enemies sheâd gained. That, and feigning her death for oh so long did wonders.Â
Shaking her head in mild, yet playful disapproval, an alluring smile remained on her perfectly rosy lips. âSuch a shame, sounds like you still have quite the day ahead of you, in that case. Itâs not a real trip to New Orleans until youâve stepped inside.â Katherine insisted, soft spoken words remaining, despite her attire given off an entirely different vibe. âLet them know that Kat sent you, when you do, theyââll be sure to take excellent care of you.â She assured him, careful not to use her full name, just in case.Â
âSuch a shame, canât imagine that was easily done, Iâd say a city with wonders like so, Iâd find it impossible to have to leave so soon. Hopefully thatâs not the case this time?â The brunette questioned cautiously, careful not to sound too curious and eager, but keeping up with the slight flirtatious tone.Â
magnus was setting up his club, when he decided to take a break. he hadnât really been around new orleans in a long time. it had changed so much, outwardly anyways. it was still the same city at heart, and that is what he loved about it deep down, it was still one of the liveliest cities he had ever been. he missed it. new york was home and heâd never want to live it permanently, but something about this town, let him feel as if all his problems were a million miles away.Â
he was glad isabelle had been transferred here, and they all decided to join her. he could use a break after the intense few weeks he had. reliving his past was awful and he could use fresh perspective. he hadnât been here since the twenties, even then he hadnât been here long. he had been traveling and decided to set up a residence here. now a days, catarina, or dot, or when ragnor was alive, they always stayed there. he was always too busy.Â
he was thinking about the past when he figured out what kind of club he wanted. he walked back fast, so he could tell the builder, when he felt himself bump into someone. âoh iâm sorryâ he didnât see them at firstÂ
Having survived the earth for over five hundred years, it was safe to say that Katherine had made her fair share of connections, both good and bad. Some more memorable than others. But it seemed, eventually every memory found its way back to her, resurfacing in some shape or form. Wandering the quarter, engaging in the occasional conversation, Katherine was careful to keep a watch out from the corner of her eye. It was then, that a familiar figure caught her attention and she pardoned herself.Â
Making her way over, she had meant to interrupt Magnus, that was until she caught onto him running into people, watching in amusement as the other grumpily dodged the other, not impressed by his apology, clearly. â Youâd think someone such as yourself would become more graceful over the years, seems centuries has taught you little, â a smirk caressed her features as she stepped forward.Â
