Greek Loves | Result: Good Nomos
All nomos types are organized around duty and the impetus that humans should care for one another in a conscientious way. Nomos types are forward-thinking and responsible lovers who see our commitment to each other not just as "duties" or "obligations," but as opportunities to deepen our own moral stature and cultivate a sense of belonging as well. Nomos types understand that humanity is a social and cooperative species and that very few things of importance can be accomplished by one person setting out for themselves. Consequently, they care especially deeply about the life and values of communities, their friends and social circles, and they often see opportunities for how everyone can be made to work together within them. Nomos types are dependable and trustworthy lovers who believe that (in love as well as in life) just rewards come to those who care not just about themselves, but for their community as a whole. As for good nomos, it must be said that uniting a concern for the affairs of others with a selflessness and a genuine humility is no mean feat. All too often, individuals who pay such close attention to the affairs of others as nomos lovers do have hidden, self-serving agendas, such as prying or meddling for the sake of entertaining themselves, acting moralistically or sanctimoniously in order to feel better about themselves, or using the information they glean from their "concern" for others as gossip to elevate their standing within the community. However, good nomos lovers manage to stay clear of these pitfalls and instead take a sincere and altruistic interest in others. When other people are going through times of trouble, the good nomos lover takes no joy in their misfortune, but understands the gravity of their plight and provides a deeply rooted sense of reassurance. Good nomos lovers listen and involve themselves in the affairs of others responsibly and humbly. They espouse a level-headed practical wisdom in a non-judgmental manner - one that gives the other person a surer and more sensible perspective on their problems. In this way, good nomos lovers are the quiet enablers of our world; people who, through their own counsel and wisdom, gently empower others to learn and grow as they rise to face the challenges before them. Good nomos lovers are not exacting, but realize that they will very likely never receive the same amount of selfless attention from others as they themselves give. They live by the creed that though the needs of friends and loved ones are insatiable, those of us who have the capacity must nevertheless do our best to tend to them and to serve as dutiful guardians, diplomats, and dependable down-to-earth presences to others. Famous Greeks who have Nomos: Pericles, Xenophon. Your ideal partner is someone who has Agape.

Snowflake shook his head. No, the lettuce was for the Ghost General. Ever since Wen Ning returned, Snowflake hasn’t seen him eat anything at all. Even his master can only go for a week with inertia…. the Ghost General has been in inertia for an entire year now.
He places a paw on the Ghost General’s hand and gently pushes the lettuce close to him as if saying ‘it’s yours. take it.’ It has no idea in its little rabbit head that humans (or corpses) couldn’t ingest unripe vegetables.
There’s something of a blank stare from Wen Ning as Snowflake pushes the lettuce close to him. Had the little thing taken note of his complaints? Or was it really just a coincidence that it felt like sharing? It was so touching that Wen Ning would shed a tear if he could.
“Oh...” He remarks quietly. After a moment’s hesitation he reaches out and very gently brushes his fingers along the rabbit’s fur, taking utmost care to not press down too hard. The ‘feel’ of the fur against his fingers was interesting, like brushing against a cloud with how little resistance the fluffy coat offered. It wasn’t the same as he remembered fur feeling, but it was still neat.
“Thank you, but I can’t eat it...” Even if he put it in his mouth and chewed it’d just wind up wasted. “But you can eat it for me. That’d be nice.”
roundandfluffy:
The rabbits were chattering away in their rabbit language when Snowflake caught the Ghost General sitting on a corner and mumbling to himself. He didn’t know what Wen Ning was talking about, but he looked rather hungry, so, after much consent from his fellow rabbits, the white rabbit picked up a fairly large lettuce leaf and begin hopping towards Wen Ning.
However, as he approached. The rabbit tripped onto the leaf and fell flat on his stomach. The lettuce flipped and landed on top of him, covering him entirely.
Stirred from his lone muttering by the presence of a rabbit, Wen Ning slowly raised his head to look down at the small animal just in time to watch it trip and cover itself entirely with the large leaf of lettuce. What spoiled creatures, he thought, though he envied how loved they were.
No sense in dwelling too much on how lucky the rabbits were, however. The life of a rabbit was fraught with peril in the wild, wasn’t it? Much better to be safe here.
Forcing the corners of his lips up into a smile was difficult but he managed, and with a great amount of caution he removed the leaf from the critter’s head before offering it out to the rabbit to munch on.
“Did you come to keep me company?” He asks softly. “I can hold it for you while you eat... that way you won’t trip again.”
“Hmmm... sometimes I miss food. It’s nice to not worry about eating, but... taste... I miss tasting things.”
Random cultivator: I have your son.
Wei Wuxian: I don’t have a son.
Random cultivator: Then who asked for chocolate milk with a silly straw and PB and J with the crust cut off?
Wei Wuxian: … [snorts]
Random cultivator: What?
Wei Wuxian: You have my fierce corpse, Wen Ning.
hey could you hold this for me *gives you my hand*
“Those who don’t have a Valentine don’t worry. I’ll be yours.”
“If you are alone today... we could go make sure the others are not alone. Young master Jin may need some companionship.” He pauses, realizing how grave his expression must look. It’s one of those days where his face muscles just don’t seem to get the proper hint. “Uhm. I am attempting to smile, by the way. It isn’t working today, but I am trying.”
@weiwuxiian
“Uhm... wh-what’s a pikachu? It must be kind of weird looking then, right? I mean...”
He’s confused, so confused. What are you doing to him, Wi-Fi?
Suddenly felt like he did something wrong and owes someone an apology, but Wangji thought long and hard on it. He hasn’t really done anything wrong…Well nothing he hasn’t already paid for. Right?
He’s not going to tell him, it’s not often Lan Wangji is open with his feelings about the young master Wei as is.
It’s okay, really. Wen Ning is happy to help. Though it would help if a certain young master would take the damn hint already.
omg I can’t believe LWJ bitch slap WN dfgdfgd I’m so sorry my dude. Here have a chibi LWJ to make up for it
"It was still so mean..."

「 ✥ 」A soft sigh would fall from his lips as he examined the other’s injury, fingertips being light as a feather as they pressed against the still intact skin surrounding the wound. Pulling away, he reached into his satchel, taking out a small piece of cloth, a salve and a few bandages. Green eyes would gaze back toward Wen Ning once he spoke again, only for Wen JinYu to smile softly. Oh how he knew that so well. But he also knew that Wen Qing would react like that because she cared very deeply for her younger brother.
“I’m sure she’ll be a bit worried about what happened once she sees these bandages on you, too.” He spoke as he placed down the bandages on the side so that he could open the bottle. “Though.. You are lucky that it’s only scrape and not a broken leg. You would never hear the end of that one..” He chuckled softly as he pressed the cloth against the opening of the salve bottle, turning it so that some could be applied upon it before setting it down. After a moment, the older boy would gently pat the injured area- slowly, just to make sure it didn’t sting too much- before putting the piece of cloth down so that he could bandage it up.
“You probably heard this at least fifty times but, be more careful, alright?” He added after a moment as he finished bandaging up the other. Picking up the bottle, he closed it before putting it away so that he could take the cloth off the ground, soon standing up afterward.
“I am plenty careful.”
He laments, looking down at his scraped leg. He could probably hide it with his clothing until it healed and if he was lucky that would spare his life.
“If my sister asks, please keep this a secret. I-I was doing my best to be careful...” Gingerly he stands, testing his weight on his leg before smiling in turn. “There we go! I’ll just make sure she doesn’t see it. I wouldn’t want to break it, I’d be buried for sure.” He groans. Wen Qing would be the death of him.
“When she kills me, please light an incense for me...!”
[forgottengoldfeathers] "Ah.. Be more careful next time, A-Ning..!" Oops, have a fretting 'big bro' JinYu ready to patch you up, Wen Ning.
@forgottengoldfeathers
“Ow, ow... it’s just a scrape, it’s fine, I’m fine...”
Wen Ning protests quietly as he sits back on the log, allowing JinYu to continue cleaning the large scrape that had occurred when he’d managed to trip in a private training session. Even if he had to work harder than the rest he’d do what it took to improve, but sometimes his clumsiness got in the way of progress.
Giving a small sigh he watches the older boy take out a salve and bandages. “But... uhm, t-thank you. It’s less scarier having you patch me up. Sister would be furious if I showed her...”
Remember when I wanted to show you Yunmeng before the Lotus Pier was destroyed.
Send “Remember when...” and a prompt or scene and my muse will talk about a memory based on it!
“Ah, yes.”
Although it’s a wistful memory Wen Ning doesn’t seem too saddened by their inability to visit afterall. They’d been young and idealistic and unlike Wei Wuxian it hadn’t been his childhood home. That pain of loss was still similar, probably, to how he felt about the fall of the Nightless City. Even if the Wen sect’s upper reaches had been unforgivable in attitude the loss of everyone around him had been too cruel a fate. He had seen some of Lotus Pier in his time there with his sister but not anything that had made it important for its residents. It wasn’t the same without knowing the memories that the place held.
“I am still forever grateful we were able to meet again there. Knowing the kindness of people outside of the Wen sect had kept me going for some time.” There’s a pause as he dwells upon the memory of Jiang Cheng yelling to kill him. It had been terrifying at the time, Wen Ning had been timid and fearful of the young man’s anger, but then...
Then he’d come to understand that anger far too well, yet he had lacked the ability to do anything about it. Unlike Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian he’d been too weak to do anything about it in the end.
“As a Wen, maybe I shouldn’t step foot there again... it might anger the spirits of those lost. If it’s not too much you can always tell me more stories instead.”
