30 day challenge!
I've been quite sore all week from my gym workouts but still going. Ran faster and longer today despite the pain and got through day 16. Next goal: 2 minute plank. #running #fitspo #30daychallenge #setgoals #motivation #soremuscles
Changed things up a bit today. 25mins on the treadmill followed by about 30mins of weights/floor exercise. And I finally got back to day 13 after being so unwell. Think I might hurt tomorrow though. #running #fitspo #30daychallenge #keepgoing #progress #achangeisasgoodasarest
It's been a bad week this week - I've been pretty unwell and not really able to do any training, but I've also been a bit naughty food wise too. But I've got a week off now and the plan this week is to get back into a good routine and to put in some extra work to get back to where I was 2 weeks ago. First run after my on calls, with laryngitis and during a storm. I felt slow going round but on finishing realised I actually kept up my usual pace so not too shabby. I've done that run 5 times now without stopping so it's time to add a little bit more distance on to keep progressing. Also did day 12. A few days late but my shoulder has finally healed so today was the day to get back into it. A 90 second plank hurt but I'm determined to keep holding on for longer. #running #fitspo #30daychallenge #goals #motivation
Another day, another run and a good one again (well, I did manage to stay on my feet!). Unfortunately I've had to put the challenge on hold for a couple of days as my fall the other day has left me with quite a sore shoulder and press ups are quite painful, but I hope that by tomorrow I can get back on it! #running #fitspo #injury #sensibletraining #30daychallenge
I actually fell over on my run today! Got some scraped hands, and my knee and shoulder are a little sore but I think my biggest injury is my bruised pride, especially as I fell in front of another human being!! He did stop to check if I was ok though! I gave myself 10 secs to catch my breath (I was a little winded) and then kept on going. No idea on time because my phone messed up but I didn't stop and felt strong. Did day 11 too, those press ups are getting better I think! #fitspo #running #30daychallenge #embarrassing #keepgoing

Dragged mum out with me on my run today. A little slower but it was fun to have some company for once. I also felt a lot fitter so when I ran ahead after a little while I was able to push back to almost my usual average pace.
