I was sad this evening, so I am bringing back a very dead meme format to gush over Ominis
Ominis is sarcastic, he is anxious as fuck, he sucks at potion making, he's a troublemaker, he loves banter, he's snappy/rude if you annoy him enough, he knows how to be assertive, he thrives with a disability, he and MC learn from each other, he talks to goddamn snakes, he's dealing with trauma and estrangement, he's really keyed in to everyone's emotions, he has serious wine mom energy, and he is absolutely, unequivocally the "gentleman in the streets, freak in the sheets" type.
My boy is pretty and sensitive and such a perfect choice for shipping, but he is also messy and weird and I love him for that 💚

Thought no one would know you are brewing a poly juice potion in the girls bathroom and no one would know about it? Ominis knows and already has theories (yes the bathroom is real btw).
Thought no one would hear what happened to the babbling painting that was in The Three Broomsticks? Ominis already knows and has thoughts.
Thought no one would hear about your secret little escapade into loyalist territory to kill some baddies with Sebastian? Ominis already has OPINIONS.

Personally, I think the most unhinged thing Player Character has done through this whole game was drinking out of the cup in Salazar’s scriptorium.
I mean imagine, this dusty rusty old room, nobody has been here for decades for all we know.

The soft Ominis headcanons are nice and all but where are the snarky prankster Ominis ones? We legit meet him in Slytherin common room and he admits to encouraging people into thinking mermaids come up to the windows in the common room. Like that’s one heck of a first meeting and I loved that. I want more of those kinda pranking and mischief with Ominis. And just him, leave Sallow out of it. I’m picturing him as having Toph from ATLA levels of snark but with the fine veneer of a “gentle wizard”.
