In the 1830s, such books were very popular, as they showed the reader amazing 3D projections.

Self-fulfilling prophecy
A ceo leaves for a week, very few people notice.
The custodial staff leave for a day, everyone notices.
Sanitation and custodial workers deserve far more money and respect than they generally get.
I don't think people understand the degree to which society is kept alive by the labor of the least well-regarded professions. If sewage technicians and sanitation workers and their expertise and knowledge were to disappear tomorrow, the streets would pile high with bodies in every city. We live in a world where we get to be blessedly ignorant to just how fast, how brutally and how violently cholera can rip through a community. How many babies it can kill. How many elderly bodies it can devour alive. You've never seen what it's like when typhoid takes root.
"Oh but we have modern medicine" if you don't have clean drinking water and a way to dispose of your piss and shit and trash you are going to fucking die. No if or but or maybe, you are dead, and so are half the people you know.
These people literally ensure that every other part of society is able to function. Just because a job is "icky" doesn't mean that it lacks value and those working it don't deserve fair pay.
"But the garbage men just throw garbage into the truck!" Very true. They do it so you don't have to drive all your garbage to the dump yourself. It's hard physical labour with a high rate of injury, and if YOU think the garbage stinks how much worse is it for them to have to literally hang off the back of the truck around it?
If you've never had a sanitation strike in your city, be grateful. The garbage piles up within a day or two. Mountains of trash bags. Flies and stink EVERYWHERE.
Do u think u could handle a bad baltimore bitch
NO
also my friends are always always allowed (encouraged even) to perv on me
hey in case you didn't know trans inclusive terminology in healthcare is not about protecting peoples feelings, it's to stop insurance companies from going "well it says here that hysterectomies are a procedure performed on WOMEN and you keep insisting that you're a MAN so we do not in fact have to cover that have a nice day and eat shit"
It also exists so that if, say, you have a situation with an underdeveloped, nearly nonexistent uterus but also an ovary that has a giant cyst, nobody can say, "You have an intersex condition so you are not technically a woman and we can't cover ovarian surgery for not-a-woman, happy peritonitis to you when that sucker explodes lol"
when your art program’s closing message hits you straight in the heart and makes you stop and contemplate the state of it all
because of the huge response to this post, I decided to make a version of the art that includes the text
I’ve also uploaded this design to INPRNT, and all sales proceeds will be donated to environmental and humanitarian charities!
this is still going around with the old dead links - please help me share this version
