I can't believe the drawing I made yesterday basically came true... Was it a force vision?
The way they slunk in around the corner. Rylee hiding behind Devon. Rook looking like she would rather roll herself into traffic.

What if I become a Star Wars blog?
i have something to say
can we reintroduce “disturbing” back into the popular lexicon in place of most uses of “traumatizing”
“This experience puts me in a worse mental state and my well-being will be compromised…”
Discomfort: “…until the stimulus is removed; there’s a chance I will have forgotten about this experience by tomorrow” (“I got rained on, I need a hot shower”)
Distress: “…for the rest of the day, but probably no more than a week; I may require some level of care and social support to make it more bearable” (“I had to sleep in the freezing rain without shelter, I might need to take a few days off work”)
Trauma: “…for months or years, potentially forever; this experience may have fundamentally changed part of who I am and I will need to dedicate time and resources towards recovery and healing” (“I lost some toes to frostbite and every time I see my feet I am reminded of the time I thought I would die”)
"The dog that bites because it is rabid is not the dog that bites because it is starving. You may kill either, but one is just a few scraps of meat away from being your faithful servant."
cole is truly the funniest fucken person in this game
I am happy for the Rooklas lovers out there, but I can't do it. Their dynamic is too, well, this:
hey unhearnerd how u doing? 😄
Hey! I'm upset that the weekend is ending, but other than that I'm good! :) I hope you are doing good too!
"There's no thought crimes and no thought heroisms" is honestly such a good piece of life advice.
You could be having the most fucked up problematic thoughts 24/7 but if you treat people with kindness, the good you do is the only thing that matters. But if you have only the purest thoughts and all the correct beliefs, it doesn't matter one bit if you spend most of your time being an asshole to people.
not now sweetie, mommy is watching how the massive girlbossification of female characters has led to the belief that weak and vulnerable female characters are badly written characters because apparently every woman needs to be outspoken and witty and snarky and brave in order to be considered “complex” and have any value in a piece of media!!
I HAVE WAITED ALL YEAR TO POST THIS
Do not cite the deep magics to me, witch. I was there when it was written.
reblog if your tumblr is more popular than the Metaverse

I love that a food bank is providing this info as they are experts in stretching food budgets and knowledgable in shelf-stable food items
Crack Mandalorian season 3 theory: Bo-Katan could be the spy.
Seems crazy but think about it. It would be a TWIST!
Well shit, Henry Jenkins, out here in 1997 dropping truth bombs
Oh hey I need this for a research paper I'm writing, thank you!
i mean he had been out here since 1988 dropping such bombs:
"'fandom' is a vehicle of marginalized subcultural groups (women, the young, gays, etc.) to pry open space for their cultural concerns within dominant representations; it is a way of appropriating media texts and rereading them in a way that serves different interests, a way of transforming mass culture into a popular culture"
Jenkins, Henry. “Star Trek Rerun, Reread, Rewritten: Fan Writing as Textual Poaching.” Critical Studies in Mass Communication 5, no. 2 (1988): 85–107. https://doi.org/10.1080/15295038809366691.
there are even some earlier works in fan studies but that’s what i have ready to hand.
