Currently working on another Suo-centric mental breakdown fic…..somewhere along the way it turned into an extensive study of emotional repression, self-worth tied to usefulness, the slow unraveling of someone who's convinced they can carry everything alone, and the terrifying moment when keeping it together is no longer an option.

Some small blurbs:

Excerpt:

Idle chatter filled the silence, and Suo could feel the haunting thoughts drift away. His classmates’ voices were warm and familiar, and he couldn’t help but let his shoulders slacken a bit.

The mild musky smell of earth after the rain eased the lump in his throat, allowing him to breathe lighter. The sky was still dark, but the soft cold breeze felt soothing after days of harsh heat. Somehow, in this moment, he could almost delude himself into believing he was right where he was meant to be.

Sora's hair is flatter in KH4 not just because of Quadratum's art style but because the spikes are Ventus's not his. as a baby before welcoming Ventus into his heart the top of his hair was flat like it is now. now that Ventus is no longer in his heart his hair goes back to its original style.

this isn't just nonsense I made up because Nomura once made a comment about Sora's hair color being lighter in KH2 because of Roxas which means my theory is totally canon. hearts do influence the way you look.

You’d rip my heart out and stomp on it @asofspades … sometimes being the “easy child” or “the one we never had to worry about” isn’t a good thing. We, because I was the easy kid, learned how to make myself need less, swallow my feelings, and avoid being a burden. Everyone praises you for being so independent and mature when really you just convinced yourself that your problems weren’t worth bringing up or weren’t as important as others.
