The amount of times I’ve been blown away by the things my girl does and she’s responded with “this is just bare minimum sweetheart, you deserve that and more”

It’s shown me how much abuse I used to put up with, and sets a clear example of what I truly deserve, which can be harder to do on your own since you’re having to relearn and rewrite a lot of bad habits and beliefs due to abuse.
