I can see human prosthetic technology actually going backwards in the X time period. Because people dont want to look like reploids. Theyll make a whole culture out of refusing to treat deformities or disabilities in their children and elderly and maybe themselves, because they simply dont want to have anything in common with an opressed group.

This could be said about a lot of si-fi actually. This isnt a fun worldbuilding headcanon or anything. You and I just know thats how it would go.
