There are so many things I wanted to pursue when I became an adult, and right around the age of 18 I let someone convince me I’m not capable of any of them, and now, at almost 24, I’m realizing that was one of the worst mistakes I’ve ever made. I could have been using these past five years honing my skills instead of being too discouraged to even try. I’m so disappointed in myself for letting someone get inside my head like that, and so thankful for a husband who encourages me to go after the things I left behind for the wrong reasons.
