These creatures were pests with a habit of chewing on docked starship guts, a behavior that caused dread in pilots, reminiscent of Old Earth wartime " gremlins". It was discovered they possess a basic sentience and are now trained to service the engines they used to feast on... Compensated with delicious scrap parts of course!

An Update on Rausliers

decided a while ago that Rausliers weren't quite working for me, so I've changed some stuff about their design to better suit my ideas for them, as well as making them easier to draw (for me lol).

hoping to make more posts on these guys soon, as well as my other aliens, buuut with my struggle to find employment i've been mostly focused on making ends meet as of late haha. if you'd like to see me draw stuff more often, consider leaving a tip if you have the means while I continue hunting for a job :)

Wait. You have TWO sapient species ?

Well there are now three sophonts.

I decided to make another sophont in December of last year and I have revised the design since and I think this design is final. They are called canihyir and they are relatives of graouu (cat species of Tsyprucee). Wara’ara is the sophont in the middle and are basically canihyir adapted to a cold island climate. The two canihyir species can hybridize but most offspring are infertile and have health issues.

Wolfmen have contacted canihyir around 60 years before the current time period of the setting. The discovery of wara’ara by southern wolfmen was fairly recent but polar wolfmen have been in contact with them for centuries. The name wara’ara means whistling people in polar languages because of wara’aras whistling and chirping like language.

Also canihyir think wolfmen are scary because they are so big compared to them.

Some color sketches I made as a personal creature design challenge, I've been having fun making these unnacurate and featherly representations of dinos on my spare time. My goal was to make em as visually striking as a could without losing the base design in the process. From top to bottom they are: Carnotaurus, Qutzacoatlus, Spinosaurus Mirabilis, Yi Qi, Dilophosaurus and Ankylosaurus
