Commitment....

Small fears...

I have a question. (Keep in mind that it's pretty much a rhetorical one) Why is it that so many people seem to work so hard at distancing themselves from the things they claim to want so much in their lives? So much energy and maneuvering into making such things unattainable? What I do know is that unacknowledged fears will have their way in a manner that is ignored all too easily. If I don't deal with them they will definitely deal with me. And I'll just end up living in a dead end fantasy world. The truth of the matter is that waking up is bitterness. You're not going to like all that you see. Which is ok by me. It puts a bit of stank on it. And makes the groove real. Addendum: There is no time other than now. Not when one is "ready". Not in 4 years or 4 months or 4 days. Not at some magical alignment of the planets and stars. Now. That's it.
