The Journal of an Aspiring Entrepreneur - Make it Happen
The patients would like to download the application.
The target population finds the app convenient and easy for appointments.Â
The ReserbaPH App will help consumers create an appointment to the medical institutions.
Based on the survey we conducted on random participants, we analyzed the data being gathered and it resulted in 59 % of the participants wanting to use this app and 24.6% of the participants answered “maybe” and 16. 4 % answered “no” with regards to this result we assumed that the target population finds the app convenient and easy to use. Due to struggles of the participants on waiting for their schedule for many hours and lined up for the severity of the case, another shortage of healthcare professionals, facilities and services,  and unavailability of hospitals nearby are the most common problems that the participants have encountered.  The ReserbaPH app aims to be a useful tool for pre-booking appointments at a clinic or hospital. It would be less burden for the customer or patients if they could use this tool to find an available hospital, healthcare providers, and the most accessible care in the network that ensures patients safety.
Our team first decided to offer opinions for the language setting for the app. The languages that we decided to add up are Filipino, English, Filipino-English (taglish) and Cebuano or Bisaya. Language setting of the ReserbaPH app encourages people all over the Philippines (patients or clients) to choose what they prefer or what they thoroughly understand to access the information point for booking appointments. Second, we have decided the general accessibility of the app by enhancing the ReserbaPH among the outskirts of Bukidnon specifically to have a hotline number for those people who have limited internet connection which intends to generate a convenient recall number that can be used by anybody, anytime, anywhere even in remote areas in the Philippines in case of an emergency, and thus to track the effectiveness of its emergency response network. Third, we agreed on the scope and focus of ReserbaPH's service, which is to disperse the app first for the province of Bukidnon. If reserbaPH happens to be successful, the team aims to extend its target to the islands of Mindanao until it hits the national scope.
Our choices for the ReserbaPH app's language settings are to consider whether we want to incorporate several languages or only filipino language and popular dialects which people commonly use here in the Philippines allowing each app user to comprehend the language directly.Â
Another option for the application accessibility is to decide whether we will remain as an app that only uses secure internet connections for the users or whether we will remain as an app that requires internet connection at the same time with a hotline number for all who have struggled for insufficient internet connectivity especially in some remote areas of Bukidnon namely;  Impasug-ong, Impalutao, Dalirig, Casisang, San Jose, Kalasungay, Patpat, Sumilao, Manolo Fortich, Bangcud, Kibawe and Kisolon who can still be able to book hospital appointments immediately.
We have two options for the scope and focus of the app's services: limit the app services to a single nation here in the Philippines or extend internationally. Â
We learned that our country's healthcare system was insufficient. According to the World Health Organization, the Filipino healthcare system is "fragmented" due to unfair and unequal access to health care services, which disproportionately affects the poor individuals, and due to that this app will accommodate anyone who seeks to use the services needed .
In addition we’ve learned that teamwork matters the most in conceptualizing ideas and work on each other's schedules, and most importantly the word “respect.” Since a respectful environment reduces stress, problems, and conflicts within a group or even outside. It helps in improving communication and bond to prosper for the whole process that we may go through in this group project.
