⌠⌠⌠⌠⌠⌠⌠⌠⌠No, he isnât. Heâs a monster.
âSome people are simply used to high temperatures.â
â Are you certain youâre one     of them? Youâre sweating. â
--
đ¸đ¸đ¸ âThe heat is something Iâll adjust to! We have stone of a similar nature in my homeland, as well!â Youâd expect her feet to get grossly callous or beaten from treating them in such ways, but they only simply got dirty. Perhaps a perk of her half-bloodedness.Â
âBesides, I find shoes are rather restricting!â
Frankly, she has never looked at a strangerâs feet quite so long before.
âRestricting?â And yet the girl wasnât one to naturally forsake protection--she was wearing armor, after all. âHow so?â
( ooc: ) So itâs 3 a.m. and probably not the best time to be awake rn but I gotta. I gotta get this out there. So Rinâs kind of big on love--I mean, she doesnât get it at all, but she wants to so, so bad.
Please like this / message me if youâre okay with a love-centric roleplay. It doesnât have to be romantic in nature. It can just a quick discussion on love or something. Really, she will appreciate anything that can further her understanding (and Iâm happy with anything that can fuel her misunderstanding).
--
âWell, youâll scare off the idiots trying to look cool by just waving around a pistol at least. I still wouldnât really call that smart.â he said, a bit of annoyance leeking into his words.Â
It was as if the girl simply didnât care about her own safety. That or she lacked common sense. He didnât particularly care what happened to her but heâd like to actually be able to head home at some point. And murder investigations took time.
âLook, just hide the thing well enough, and pull it if you need it. Youâll save yourself alot of trouble that way. Or at least head over to Sector 6, things are alot moreâŚ. calm there. Usuallyâ When it wasnât on fire.
She wasnât looking to be smart. She was looking for trouble... but that really wasnât hard for anyone to figure out. As a worker at Citta Law, she was testing whether a law regarding firearms would be beneficial through a self-conducted observational study. She was confident in her ability to react if the situation got ugly, but there have been no incidents so far. In fact, this man was the only one to even comment on her gun.
âI canât do that. Iâm gathering data.â She explained. So blunt, and yet so vague. She simply didnât see a need to elaborate further.
âHow did you know I was using a toy?â She didnât think heâd been close enough to notice.
--
She got him.
Her reaction timing even in a crowd of panic people was fast as hell as once she got her shot off of him he immediately went for cover.
No need to stay around for her to double tap him.
âYour pretty good.â
Skull find himself this time in a cloth store as he sneak to the back and take off that silly costume of his piece by piece while using one of the mirrors he found to cover his angles just in case Rin try to sneak up on him.
If she can react quickly to crowd control then he need to up his game. But how? How to up his game when his foe is just as good as him and donât make the same mook mistakes as his other enemies?
âHmmm?â
Skull saw a map of a special event that was suppose to be going on the mall today as his lips curl into another small smile.Â
Problem is will he reach âthatâ spot in time?
âI need SOMETHING to throw the blood hound off my trail but what? What can i use? The same tactics not going to work twice with herâŚ.â
Is that a cardboard box? Skull saw the cardboard boxs and a scared employees in the shop and have a idea.
Rin on the other hands is slowly and surely heading into the cloth shop. Suddenly there was cardboard box that sprint out of the store in high speed as the store start having MULTIPLE cardboard boxes sprinting out.
Is he among the card board boxes? Is he hiding inside?Â
You got a few second before and you have to make a choice. Go hunt the cardboard boxes people who are most likely the scared employee of the shop  (there a chance skull might be using them as a cover while he in one also. You saw him use the mascot disguise already) or head deeper into the shop and try to find where Skull is hiding inside.

As she walked calmly after him, she pondered on the legal ramifications of their training. While it was no doubt an interesting training method, his bomb threat has made this a public-order crime.
...Just in case, Rin pinned her strip into her hair. Nobody should be able to see her face now. Despite this being her first time at the mall, she already knew the layout well enough to chart several escape routes. This wouldnât be her first time evading police.
The people in cardboard boxes that burst out of their hiding places and into the open alarmed her. One moment the four boxes were charging at her. The next moment they had paint splashed on them.
It seemed that she had a rather eager trigger finger when she was in a battle-ready mindset. This would also have to be improved on.
Still annoyed by her folly, she began walking into the store.

GO in SOUL (Vs. Hive City Horror) [6-Person Group Thread]
Though their leader had been so generous in pointing it out; their assault force seemed lacking in harmony - on the surface, at least. Not a new experience; if the Shinoa squad were capable of banding together, than any forced had the potential to work together.
All introduced, it fell to him to complete the line-up, standing with squared shoulders, his frame rigid and etching the very same resolve into every inch on display that could be.
âYoichi Saotome. Like Kairi and Shulk, Iâd like to minimize the risk this creature poses to the public. This beach is a place many of them have waited a substantial time for; it neednât be overshadowed by a monster lurking about should it intend ill against them. If it might help, Iâve served in the army of my homeworld, and though currently, Iâm not in possession of my usual gear, my strength is in long-range attacksâ.
draugenov > unlovedhound >Â destinyxembrace > heirslash > nestundernight
Well, the kid with the weird bowl cut was right. On the outside, this certainly did not look like the kind of group youâd see fighting monsters. Maybe in an RPG, perhaps, but this wasnât an RPG. This was real life, and real life usually desired more⌠hale and hearty folk to get the job done. At least a couple of them had actual weapons. And, hey, the ones that didnât would be useful for keeping the boat steady and such.
ăWell, itâs a start, at least. Now youâre all introduced. Look, Iâm gonna be blunt here; someoneâs probably dying from this. Who, I dunno, but Iâd bet on the redhead, since she doesnât look like sheâs got the gear to fight properly. But, hey, thatâs the risk you take. I usually go easy on kids, but since you guys are here willingly, Iâm not pulling any of my punches here.ă
Still, the group was better equipped than he thought. A couple of them had real deal weaponry, and most of the ones who didnât had some decent makeshifts. Plus, they were all mostly unified, albeit in two goals: public protection, and the promise of food from the beastâs carcass.
Better than the Mad Dog expected, but not ideal.
ăAlright, no point in wasting any more time. Get on the boat so we can make our move. Probably some dumb NPCs trying to swim out there to piss it off, or some other dopes trying to snap pictures or study it or some other shit. Weâre gonna make sure that this thingâs put down for good, so you kids better be prepared. Much as I still have my doubts, Iâve got faith in you runts to back me up here.ă
Right, shit, his introduction. He actually forgot about that.
ăThe nameâs Azrael. The Mad Dog of Sector Seven⌠Genocider⌠Angel of Death⌠Tyrant. Plenty of nicknames, but they donât mean shit. I donât need a weapon; my bodyâs the only weapon Iâm gonna need. Trust me, Iâm pretty strong, even with these damn scientists sapping my strength down to half what it usually is. Half of a hell of a lot is still quite a lot, yâknow.ă
unlovedhound > destinyxembrace > heirslash >Â nestundernight > endworldarcher > draugenov
He spoke too much. She had begun stepping onto the boat before he even finished his introduction. She didnât particularly care how eccentric the group was, just as long as they got the job done.
Having boarded the boat she turned to address the others in turn. It was only polite to memorize the names of the people she was going to fight with. âAzrael, Kairi, Shulk, Byakuya, Saotome... It would be best to leave quickly.â
Her words werenât driven only by her appetite. She thrust her thumb over her shoulder and towards a lifeboat that just returned from far out into the ocean. Even though it had been created along with the beach just a few days ago, the boat was heavily damaged. The long claw marks along its side was jarring enough, but worst yet was that a large chunk of its stern was missing. It also hefted quite a tow of bodies--some of which were corpses, but all of which were fools who swam too far.

[âŚPoisonâŚHastyâŚGoâŚButâŚLearnâŚ]
Poison? Did the girl think she was going to poison her? Or that her food would be so horrible it would make her sick? âUh, I was thinking of Ramen or Donburi.â Ramen would require less ingredients, which was a good thing considering she had no idea where she was going to get money to buy food once the little bit she had on her ran out. But if she was going to have a guest then Donburi would be better. Plus, she already had most of the ingredients at home.
âAnd my food wonât make you sick, I promise.â
She rather liked both foods.
âIâve yet to try homemade cooking.â was a sudden thought, but it was nevertheless true. She has attempted and tasted her own cooking having been told it was an excellent way of expressing âloveâ. However, despite following the instructions perfectly, she was later told that her cooking lacked... âfeelingsâ.
Perhaps by watching and tasting someone elseâs cooking, sheâd be able to understand.
âThank you. I accept your offer.â Rin said, just as they stepped into the grocery store.
âWhat ingredients do you need? I will split the search and cost with you.â
i don't know your character but your writing is absolutely lovely to read and really exudes an ominous cloud and a sort of gentle yet oppressive despair and can be really intense. your writer's voice is super strong!!
( ooc: ) omg yooo thank you ;_;
iâve read your rps on my dash when i see them and i love your character and the way you write herâit really embodies her second nature and you can make it really funny when you want to.
What is your opinion on my portrayal?
You can tell me on or off anon and I happily accept constructive criticism.Â

⏠ } He almost expected the girl to say she hasnât seen such a place in the city, not because he doubted she would know, but he expected that he would have more difficulty finding help. The city is big, after all. However, when she answered in the affirmative, he almost looked relieved.Â
⏠ } Deemo nodded again as a thanks. Waiting for her to lead the way, he then looked at her expectantly.
They stood there for a good minute until Rin realized what his stare meant. Then she began walking, occasionally glancing behind her to make sure she hadnât lost him. The shopping sector was bustling with so much activity that even she--agile as she was--had difficulty navigating through the crowds.
While waiting to cross a busy street, she turned and asked him, âWhat instrument do you play?â
   ( Evidently--no instrument that required a mouth. )

â Â Â Â âOh cool, thanks!â
At least she knew her home was around here, which was a good thing. She was about to leave when she took a closer look at the girl, man did they seem similar.Â
âAnother question, sorry! Do you know if thereâs any like.. paranormal places âround here? Iâm an investigator, yâsee!â
â...Paranormal investigator.â She repeated. Although there was no emotion on her tongue, the repetition by itself had been a sign of her incredulity.
âI have heard that there is a ghost in the apartment complex in sector three, but I doubt--â Recognizing it as bad phrasing, Rin tried again. â--do not know for certain if it is true.â
