Where tf has metric been?

Firstly, I'm considering changing my handle because metric feels out of the loop now. Tune back in for that decision.

Second, my aunt (whom I was very close) passed away and I've been dealing with those complex emotions. Mostly grief. I do what I do.

Happy Sunday! I have to continue cleaning my sink, the cat area and do work laundry today but I will be around between then.

I tend to write replies more at work in my down-time (when my boss isn't in my office). I have 3 transcripts I have to do this week, but they're all under 10 minutes so I shall bang out my little hoard.

Shane's ex-fiancee's name was Jamie and she was a military girlie. Her father was a SEAL. She was a late joiner herself, and when it came time for her to make a career decision, which required moving out of fuckass Georgia, they had that conversation. He just wasn't ready to move out of home yet, and she was looking to further her career.

Despite being very in love, she called off the marriage and chased her best dreams. It hurt the fuck out of Shane. Surprised Pikachu and everything. He never thought she'd actually leave, and normally he is the breakup person ... not the one being broken up with.

She is also the famous leaves the lights on in the house woman he's talking to Rick about in episode one. The relationship hurt him so badly that he only speaks of her in that sort of way -- the bitterness trumps over the good feelings, and he can't help but run his mouth.
