i think the best form of advertising i could singlehandedly give for the raven cycle is that the series' one star reviews on goodreads from 2012 largely consist of harry potter fans who are upset because "they never stop to explain the magic system" (to which the average trc fan would say. what magic system) and say stuff like "i think this character is meant to be like one of the weasleys but the author is writing wrong because this is a different character"
