it should be noted that bell.dandy doesn’t just love simply. she loves with a depth that many people can never understand. she isn’t clear of all faults; her most notorious fault is that she is kind. and that kindness, to most, translates as weakness. she is so in love with the world that all the terrible things people can or may do go right over her head until they’re about to happen. and even then, even with the power to read minds, she can’t understand it. she can’t wrap her head around why someone would do something evil when they know that it is evil. she can’t understand why someone might enjoy killing another person or find glee in fighting a living thing. because of this, she not only loves with all of her heart, she trusts with that much depth and desire as well. this is a result of the fact that, for the first-half of her canon, she is oblivious to other people’s flaws. when someone brings up a truth about themselves that can be seen as negative or derogatory, she will often deflect it or state that its a part of them that makes them who they are. what’s worse, she’s quick to forgive. should your muse befriend her, they will be loved dearly with all of her heart. and if they should betray her, it will render her speechless and without understanding but she will more than likely forgive them if they act anguished by their own decision or attempt to explain their side.
