I’m Kittie, a domestic housecat therian and copingkin who only started figuring that out extremely recently! I’m really new to the community, so I’m not quite up to date on all the terminology yet. Feel free to correct me if I get something wrong, but please be polite.
I have an ever growing collection of cat kaomojis to be found here;

This blog is going to act as a public diary/scrapbook about my experience as a cat, where I’m planning to hoard posts that appeal to my cat side and meow about my own life. It’s a side blog, so I don’t think I’ll be interacting through it much, but that might change. My main is a secret :3 but that’s only because it’s basically just an archive for myself meowwww

Please address me as you would any cat you didn’t know, including in terms of pronouns. Whatever you default to when referring to a cat works for me! Please do not ever refer to me as a human- person is tolerable, but I’d prefer cat, being or creature. In addition, I prefer feline viviterms to refer to my body.
I’m still working out my identify as a therian, so I don’t have many details on what kind of cat I am yet, but I do know that I am a cat.
I’m not a minor, but I have no plans on posting or reblogging anything explicit, though it is possible that there may be some suggestive content.
Bigots of any kind are not welcome here. My blog is a safe space for all marginalized groups, and I will never support Zionism, Transmisogyny, Exorsexism, Transphobia, Sexism, Sanism, Homophobia or white supremacy here and I ask that those who do please see themselves out.
I stand on the principle of “if it’s not hurting anyone, it’s none of my business” in regards to most other topics.

In retrospect, that time when Kittie went to a drag show and there was a group of therians in gear in front of it and I couldn’t stop looking at them was pretty telling
genuinely fucked up that if i want to interact with someone online i have to say words and have a conversation instead of just mashing my face against them like a cat
Hypothetical scenario: You are given the opportunity to undergo a medical procedure. This procedure has two side effects: 1.) giving you a body opposite from your AGAB, and 2.) giving you cat ears and a tail. The operation and aftercare are all free of charge. Do you go for it?

I think as a physical and biological therian kinrad is honestly a really hateful and unneeded movement. Otherpaws genuinely are not harming anyone, they are simply just playing with species expression the same way literally MILLIONS of others play with gender expression. Nobody has made a movement saying feminine cis men or masculine cis women are making a mockery of trans people? How is a human presenting themselves as animalistic making a mockery of nonhumans? You just hate people expressing themselves. If you hate otherpaws you should hate furries and kemonomimis just as much.
do you have any tips for severe species dysphoria?
Many places will tell you to focus on gear and clothes and playing games where you are your kintype, but those have never done much for me. What has always helped me is figuring out what parts of my body, skillset, and life style I can change to better match my kintype. If my kintype is a powerful runner that navigates the forest with ease and eats a mixture of fish and wild berries, then that gives me a list of dysphoria alleviating goals that looks like:
- start jogging or practicing on a treadmill to get better at running and feel fit in a way that matches my animal counterpart
- spend more time in the woods getting comfortable with uneven terrain and familiarizing myself with the patch of woods I am visiting
- start eating more fish, or maybe even learn how to fish, and learn about berries that can be foraged in my area
These can be done alongside wearing a tail or clothing that matches your kintype colors or whatever other things you like, but I promise that building practical skills related to your kintype will make you feel so much closer to them than material items will.
