Elpam is the second Noisulli moon out of three, known for its dual environment created by Iolarian nanotechnology ages ago. Its side facing the main planet’s artificial solar shield is covered in forests, with its other side facing the weakened real sun being a rocky desert. The foliage here however is fragile and falls apart easily, but grows back full sized within a few short days.

Noisulli born here, referred to as the Ecitslos race of Noisulli, have similar fungi or shelf-shaped head and tail structures to that of their landscape.
