I would personally be an office worker and have a fomantis that I had to order from a specialized breeder overseas… I paid so much for the egg shipping + live hatch insurance. she is such a picky little beast and I spent my entire paycheck for 6 months to build her a tropical hothouse for the required levels of humidity and temperature. I am on 13 different exotic plant pokemon forums where we talk about our fertilizer mixes and what we’ve been doing to maintain the coloration of our pokemon’s leaves. I am the pokemon equivalent of a serious aquarium hobbyist

A trubbish, grimer , and just other ugly Pokémon. Maybe they have issues and whatever, but I’d still be like “sweet stinky baby!” And hug them with a full hazmat suit. I’d have so much trouble renting a house because I’d keep bringing home strays who need love because they get overlooked.
I haven’t been here in a hot minute and a lot has changed. I don’t remember anyone and I don’t know anyone on tumblr anymore. Thought about a whole new blog, but I’m pretty sure I’ll just use this one for now and then go from there.

What are your thoughts on all of The 100 roleplayers, particularly Grounder characters that use your blog as a reference for the language?
Honestly? This is the first I’ve ever heard of it. Is there a The 100 role-playing game?! Even if it’s a fan-made one, that would be amazing! Or is it not a game (e.g. just for cosplay, or for fun, or fanfic, etc.)? Because I have to tell you, a pen-and-paper RPG—or a full-fledged LARP—set in The 100 universe where you could roll, e.g., someone from the Ark, someone from Mount Weather, a Grounder, etc., would be amazing. It’s an interesting setting, but also I think something that’s much closer to our world than a lot of RPGs. That is, there are no real fantastical elements, no super-human abilities, and also no really advanced technology. That’s pretty unique, when it comes to RPGs. Sounds like a lot of fun!
Anyway, I’m happy for anyone who wants to read this Tumblr. I’m sorry it can’t be more helpful, but there’s only so much I can release about the language, and only so much I can work on it, because of the other stuff I do. I’m grateful that the fans have, for the most part, accepted the language’s role in the universe, since I just joined the show season 2. This fanbase is incredible, and I am delighted to be a part of it—both a part of the show, and to be a fan of the show.
Thanks for the ask! It’s thoughtful of you to ask, but, yes, delighted that someone would read this Tumblr for any reason. If they find it useful, then I feel like it’s a worthwhile thing to do.
That would be easy to make. I mean, there are plenty of open world system like savage worlds.
Some background specific special traits AND possible flaws, depending on where you were born. Or perhaps advantages since mutation can be a positive thing, too, and you´d be set.
That´s almost too easy. LOL.
But The 100 would make one hell of a LARP setting. PvP. Get some old Russian military base here in Germany and you´re a go. And post-apocalypse is getting more popular by the year!
But I love what you do with the language. Not just the translation, but also the why behind it.
I am working on a similar language for our LARP background and it´s imensely helpful!

Me: It's been five minutes. The story is ten thousand words long. Give people longer than five minutes to read a ten thousand word story. Give people longer than five minutes to see that there has even been a story posted. Some people are at work. Some are asleep. Some are watching Orange is the New Black and eating corn chips. It's okay if you don't immediately get a kudos. Which is its singular form, though kudo as the singular is also an acceptable back formation.

No. A lot of women don’t go to cosmetology classes to learn how to do hair, they have the experience from growing up-their mom doing their hair, Then experimenting which what they can do themselves. This guy probably had short hair his entire life with no clue on what to do. He didn’t just look up how to do a ponytail, he paid for actual classes so that he could do his little daughters hair in cool and creative ways so that SHE gets the learning experience and learns how to do it her own and then can go to school with fabulous. This is A+ daddy right here, he went above and beyond because he knows that he lack in certain areas where a mom would pick this up. Please don’t destroy nice things that men do simply because they are men and you want to hate them.
