Pearl looked at Yuna curiously, as she was very confused. "Hello...Yuna?! You...you look like a Rose Quartz," she said softly. "Not that that's a bad thing. It's not." She took ahold of her hands gently.

The finished WIP I posted the other day!
First time doing a background, so i’m pretty darn proud of it.
Short hiatus!
Just taking a short hiatus, I should return after the new SU episodes are done airing. I have faith in these new eps and I lowkey wanna be surprised. Also, I just wanna take a small break from tumblr as well. I wanna try to get my motivation back by just relaxing and taking it easy.

Pearl had been on Earth for quite some time since the war on it, and she didn’t really care for it much. But as long as she was here with Rose, she didn’t mind at all. When Rose had offered Pearl to walk together at night, she gladly accepted. If it had meant alone time for the both of them, then it was a win win. It had been nighttime; Pearl wasn’t really good with time, at all, but she knew that once a day, the sun would go down, and it just had quite some time ago. However, she had unrecognized the area around them. They hadn’t ventured this far...
The normal, clear weather was starting to change as well. Light drizzles of rain started to fall, and this wasn’t unusual, but it did startle Pearl, somewhat. “...Rose? Do you know where we are?” she asked, sounding pretty unsure of herself. She knew Rose went walking by herself more than she did, so she expected her to know her way around. However, this was a very big planet. She really hoped the other knew, as she didn’t want to be lost, especially in the middle of a storm. Pearl wasn’t very fond of storms; she preferred clear weather.

she gasps quietly as her back hits the wall, eyes widening behind her visor. a heart she didn’t even need flutters in her chest like that of a bird’s- quick and fleeting.
“okay,” she mumbles, completely thrown off course by this sudden action that is so completely /off course/ from any other future garnet could have seen it’s dizzying. and she all but melts when pearl kisses her, deciding any other futures can wait.
Pearl smiled slightly through the kiss, and even gave her some more kisses. She was feeling very lovey-dovey, and she wanted to let Garnet know how she felt about her.
“I love you a lot,” she said very quietly. She remembered that last time Garnet had pinned her to the wall, and it was for a fusion dance. But this time, it was for real.
“i love you too,” she breathes, completely taken aback by pearl’s sudden burst of courage. not that she had a problem with it- it wasn’t often that pearl took the reins like this. whenever she did, it left garnet breathless and yearning for more.
“what brought this on?” she murmurs quickly, a small smile quirking her lips upwards. “this is very unlike you.” there’s a teasing lilt to her voice, but it turns sultry quickly. “not that i have an issue with it.”
She couldn't help but blush and giggle from what Garnet said. "I've been feeling like this for quite a...while, and, frankly, I just couldn't take it anymore..." she explained with a small laugh.
She did admire how elegant Garnet looked at all times, but she wasn't exactly sure how to let her know. Plus, even though she really liked the other gem, it took her a while to get the courage to do this.
