343 industry developers decided not to include split-screen gameplays as well as lan compatibility in the upcoming Halo 5.
If you would like to see if it is true you may check them on official Microsoft game store online by Xbox One or connected online stores.
There has not been further updates concerning if it would change according to the player’s demands but for the purpose of crisp details in Halo experience and other reasons, it has been decided that split-screen will be no more.

It seems endless joy for us to bring to you guys!
We've been researching with full details and finally brought to you all with some exciting Halo Nightfall news!
Have you ever wondered what the anonymous spartan portrayed on Halo 5 Guardian reveal poster?
Never would we have guessed, but according to 343 industries, it is a secret service spartan named Agent Locke.
But we will not find out about this spartan furthermore until Halo Nightfall is released. This is legitimately because Halo Nightfall will be focused about Agent Locke's background story and how it all began.
Halo Nightfall will be available when you purchase Halo Master Chief Edition and it is Xbox Exclusive so it is quite unfortunate for Xbox 360 users :(
As for additional details about Halo Nightfall, we know that the story will begin with a spartan named Marloe, played by actor Mike Colter. The project has been directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan and produced by Ridley Scott, and this is a completely different project from Steven Spielberg's project.
As far as the story goes, it will be mainly told from gap to gap from Halo combat evolved to Halo 5 Guardians.

Just for those who have heard it for the first time, it is pretty much Halo combat evolved anniversary, Halo 2 anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4 put altogether. This great deal will be released for only on Xbox One and it is planned to be released later this year fall.
