Not all men treat women like trash, can confirm because I have an insane amount of male relatives and know a great deal of people (plenty of which being men)

Allow me to tell you what a NORMAL, GOOD MAN is like. The example being: My father <3

My father doesn't yell at my mother, never ever even tried to raise a hand to her, never forced her to do something she was strictly opposed to, cook family meals more than her, asks about what she's eaten that day (she has a tendency to skip meals or not eat something good, if she's busy), sleeps in the spare room if she hasn't been sleeping well, also y'know helped raise his four kids, worked a night job while she didn't work (by choice), manages half the business, also when my siblings and I were little if we woke up at night for no reason he would put us in the car and take us with him while he did his night job until we fell asleep, he also takes most business phone calls because my mum doesn't like phone calls, my parents have also gone a few little trips, he listens to her when she needs to rant, he comforts her, he's kept the business running smoothly while she's been in and out of the province for really fucking difficult family things, he supports her, he makes her laugh, and neither of them have ever showed distrust or unhappiness in their marriage (they celebrated their 26th anniversary this year and went on a trip, it was great)

hi guys I just wanted to update that he didn’t only want me for sex (at least so far ever since I wrote that!) I didn’t mean to start a discussion sorry 😕

There are men who are pure evil, but I believe that there must be some sort of good in everyone. The man I wrote about is my best friend of five years, we’ve been on and off for a while and when he kissed me he told me that no matter what, my comfort and his love for me would go above his ability to touch me.

This goes to show that I trust this man, and even though there are men in the world who we simply can’t trust, there is still hope for some men. Still thank you for your considerate gesture (at least I think it was out of worry!!) :))

Im so happy that your father is an amazing man, he sounds really sweet and someone we need more of in the world!! My dad and older brother are also two of the most respectful men alive and I’m grateful I have them as an example of how men should treat women!!
