Café Orilla
Baguio City, PH (Irisan)
Wow. Just wow.
Getting to Café Orilla was a bit tricky because it was already dark out, but it was definitely worth the drive! Just driving up to it, you’re already asking yourself, “This is still Baguio?” The café is situated next to Camp Riverside, in which a river actually flows through these two places. Overall, the place reminds me of the countryside US, back in South Carolina.
My cousin and I stayed at the Reading Nook, which is accessible by a steep ladder. It is so comfy and is filled with many books and a few board games. The staff is willing to serve you in the reading nook too.
Food is amazing... Coffee is amazing... Ambience is amazing... Everything is amazing. I really want to go back as soon as possible!
Café Orilla has its own style of burger, and a quite tasting burger at that. I believe all of their sandwiches come with homemade fries. Their serving is also plenty! You won’t go hungry at all.
Onto their coffee:
The caramel macchiato was really good! Although I never knew to stir it, as all the caramel stayed at the bottom. So I got to drink caramel. So sweet! But I love sweet things, like you. Okay, I’ll stop.
For their iced white chocolate mocha, what I loved about it was that it wasn’t iced at all. The glass mug was so chilled that ice was not needed. It doesn’t water down the mocha at all, which was pleasant to taste!
