My friend and I just decided to find a coffee shop and stay there.  Look where we ended up? A cute coffee shop!

I ordered an Iced Butterscotch Latte, which tasted so creamy!  It has the perfect blend of sweet, salty, and buttery flavors.  The drink was placed in a convenient cup, with an amazing logo.  Unlike other coffee shops, the cups were quite strong and rigid.

My friend ordered a Cheesecake Milkshake.  It has a halved New York Cheesecake on top of the whipped cream with crushed graham sprinkled on top while salted caramel syrup is found along the inside of the glass cup.  Again, it was amazingly creamy with a strong taste of cheesecake, not too sweet.

The Oriental Bowl was stunningly put together, with enough servings to feed two people, although it was only meant for one person.  It tasted of Japanese and Korean cuisine harmoniously cooked together in one bowl.  Definitely filled up my tummy for the rest of the day!

It’s my last day in Baguio and my old housemate invited me for brunch. We decided to eat at Patch Cafe because I haven’t tried eating there yet.

We arrived at the Bloomfield Hotel where Patch Cafe is located at around 10am. Surprisingly, the coffee shop is almost empty. A couple of businessmen and a group of college students and that’s it. Well, maybe it’s too early still.

A new SK content feature... help me name it!

So I'm planning on creating a new set of content for Patch-Cafe, and would also be posted here on tumblr. Basically it would be a series of images with weird or otherwise forgotten trivia about Shaman King and related topics. I'll post these on a fairly regular basis (exact timing to be determined). Not the most original idea, but it should be good to get these extra little tidbits out there.

To unify all the posts together, I need a name for this series! It needs to be something that shows that's it's related to trivia or weird topics, but has a "Shaman King" spin to it. It could also be connected to the "Patch Cafe" or anything with the Patch (but doesn't have to be). Here's some of my ideas so far...

PATCH CAFE

Bloomfield Hotel, #3 Leonard Wood Road, Baguio City

This will be the last post for the review series for now, as Patch Cafe was the lastplace I visited when I went home for the holidays. I actually stumbled upon itby accident because it wasn't on my initial list of cafes to try, but I was outin town with my boyfriend and all the popular restaurants were full. We werejust out looking for dessert and coffee when we passed by the Bloomfield Hotel and I remembered that they had a cafe.

It was such a lovely surprise that the place wasn't full and that it looked absolutely cozy inside! We settled ourselves in a comfortable corner to order tea, coffee, and cakes. My boyfriend got a cute solo-sized New York Cheesecake, and I got a slice of Banana Hazelnut Cake. The desserts were so decadent and were worth coming back for! I can't believe we almost missed this place because I wanted to have a cheesecake at Casa Vallejo! This place is definitely more homey and had waaaay less people. 

Although the interior's as photogenic as all the other coffee shops in town, it gave me the impression that I was sitting in just another cafe in the metro. Nevertheless, the visit still felt like home and the cakes surely made up for that minor detail. Overall, Patch Cafe could be a worthwhile alternative when all the other popular (more recommended) places are full and you'd much rather be sitting comfortably than be on a waitlist.

I got really tired of all the dashes and was really surprised the url wasn't already used.

I am in no way related to patch-café.net apart from the fact that I am a fan and check their website often.

To those in tumblr who actually are part of patch-café.net - if this bothers you please let me know. I can easily change it again, since it can be misleading. (I put the s for patch's café to further distinguish it, but tell me if you rather wish I didn't.)
