An interesting news story that shows another other side of the Krays. To fellow gangsters they were Hell on Earth. To the needy though? Not so much. They made a number of donations like this over the years to various causes. Genuine good will, or a play for the limelight and sympathy? I’d put money on the former, but that’s just me.

Not to my immediate knowledge I’m afraid! I haven’t read much about Monica, other than Ron’s quotes regarding his feelings for her and bits of his letters, I’m not even sure if there’s more information out there about her honestly!
