I made this blog because im a bit angered at the, shall we say, complete lack of nuance in this fandom (and one character specifically) on literally every platform I interact with it on.

My favorite character from the show is (i think quite obviously) Chase. He will be discussed a lot.

Just for reference, I have watched the whole show multiple times. And elite force. I do not like elite force.

Bree is such a difficult character to get a read on. She doesn’t have a very consistent character and it’s not the fault of Kelli Berglund(I’ve seen her in other things and she’s a good actress). Bree can be a tomboy, she’s can be big sister, she can be social awkward teenager, etc. She is basically whatever the writers want/need her to be at that given moment. The only consistent thing for Bree’s character was wanting to be normal. I have looked at idea with Bree in depth in the past.

I do think the writers during season three sort of figured out Bree. Following Bree’s arc in “Three Minus Bree” and “Which Father Knows Best”, they sort of just made Bree snarky and somewhat annoyed. She is not a bad character, but the writers didn’t seem to know what to do with her. She did have her moments here and there, but it wasn’t really much. She really existed more as a support character despite being a main character in the show.

I have often wondered about Bree being a part of original design of the show. For those who don’t know, before Lab Rats was what we know as it as today it was something called Billion Dollar Freshman. The idea as far as I can tell didn’t include a character like Bree, but we also don’t know much about it.

I don’t the writers or any other creatives meant to write Bree so poorly, but that is what happened. Bree is interesting in the fact she’s not really well-written, but I often wonder what kind of character she would be with better writing.

my headcanon is that ABC without bionics cant really function but not in a sad way

like bree without her bionics always trips when running and also sometimes does movements slowly

adam cant really lift anything without his bionics because he never knows how to put the correct amount of strength

and since chase is the odd one out without any main physical bionic abilities i think he has memory problems without his bionics

in this headcanon ABC have to do a bionic maintenance once a year and having to go without their chips for a full day and you can understand the chaos

however in the later seasons i believe they manage to learn how to function normally wo bionics but yk
